Greetings from the desert!
We are the Skovsteds, traveling full time in our 25' toy hauler.

We're so happy you're here! ✨

Our family travels will take you to wild places as we share our adventure and location inspiration.

We ask for your help in protecting the public land we share 🙏🏻

We will chase sunsets, catch waves and work together to keep the wild wild.

Stay sunny, 🌵

Ask me how many times and I'll tell you I've lost count.

It's all so good out there and it's a bonus when the community feels just as good.

Campgrounds we've fallen for and will be back for (in no particular order):

Bellingham, WA
New Orleans, LA
New Braunfels, TX
Marfa, TX
The Keys, FL
Kona, HI
Huntington Beach, CA
Mt. Hood, OR
Sedona, AZ
Missoula, MT
Lakewood, WI 🤍

A perk of traveling in our home fulltime is getting to revisit and call these areas home again and again AND choosing WHEN. TX, FL, LA in Winter/Spring?
Yep.
Northern states in summer? YES.

What are your favorite areas to visit and when?

From what I'm gathering, it will smell like sun tan lotion, have karaoke nights (which will provide future discounts), so also free entertainment, and will definitely have Dolly's supremely aggressive scrubbing power.

That time I went to a music + art festival and came back ready to sell all of our things to live in a camper down by a river.

Also, this is a reminder to go do random, fun things solo as a new mom. ❤️

Welcome HOME 🤩

This family of drifters has landed in central Wisconsin.
Along the river and through the woods, we've come to the epitome of Midwest nice.

We'll be keeping our camper for school breaks and summa time adventures!

For now, we'll be adjusting to this new life in our beloved MCM home! We're in love with it all ❤️

Thank you for being here ❤️

We had 24 hours to decide if we would pivot from our FOREVER plans of RV travel.

We're in love with it all right now, and we didn't want to regret not trying this new adventure.

..So, I guess it's time to find a house 😁
(This was in May!)

Thanks for following along our adventures. It's fun to share! The support here has been appreciated more than you may know!

❤️

Hello, friends!

In May, we were in downtown Memphis when we got a call. Our oldest daughter has been on a waiting list for a beautiful in person Waldorf-inspired nature school for the last 4+ years.
We never thought she would get a spot, and honestly, we were okay with that!
We were planning our life well into the future (honestly, forever) surrounding traveling in our little home on wheels.

Isn't it funny how unpredictable life can be?

Our oldest daughter was SO excited to hear about the idea of going to the school she participated virtually in.

We had 24 hrs to decide..

Help me pick a favorite action shot from the river!!
Which one?? 1, 2, 3, or 4?

Also, HEYYY!!! We're back from what has become a regular summer social media hiatus 😆

I hope the season has been so good you, friends. We have some BIG news to share!!!
