GALLOWS OF SATURN brought the heavy end of Sunday night to Kick Butt Coffee. The Austin band’s sludge and stoner metal gave the Starfire Presents show a crushing finish: thick riffs and weight you can feel. Here’s a clip from their set—turn it up.

SWELLIN brought a shot of Texas rock ’n’ roll to Kick Butt Coffee on Sunday night! The band calls its sound psych/garage, and its set had the loose, loud spirit that makes live music such a good time. Hit play, turn it up, and let this clip take you back into the room.

Archwood hit the Kick Butt Coffee stage Sunday with a set that pulls you in and keeps you there. Their sound moves between alternative rock, emo, pop-punk, post-hardcore, and shoegaze: big guitars, memorable melodies, and feeling behind every song.

A fun line up that was put together by the wonderful @starfirepresents of some really loud emo/metal groups for a night of loud.

These people really know how to bring something new and loud to scene keeping that scene alive with something new on the underground.
