Yesterday was so very special✨

I hosted and designed this event at a gorgeous location in Unadilla called The Pines at Covered Bridge Gardens📍
Shoutout to the owner of The Pines, Kathy, for the space and to all the other incredible vendors⤵️

It was a nice way to get creative with event planning again, using my small business roots @stargazedevents 🌟

I’m blessed to be surrounded by all of the people I love most, who have supported me and have been alongside me throughout various stages of my life. Yesterday’s party was a celebration of many achievements, like 5 years of hard work achieving my B.S and M.S in nutrition & dietetics going back as a student at 30 years old, earning a full time career in clinical nutrition, celebrating 35 years of life, all while having support in taking the final steps towards earning the title of a registered dietitian nutritionist.

They say your vibe attracts your tribe and I feel so lucky to have so many wonderful people in my life who came to celebrate these big life milestones with me, while doing some fun line dancing too. Words can’t describe how happy my heart feels 💗

And one of my favorite quotes “start each day with a grateful heart” just so happened to be at the venue, reminding me that my angels were with me too, always watching over from above 🪽 taken in The Pines at Covered Bridge Gardens by @stargazedevents

✨Location Inspiration✨

It’s been a while since I’ve shared some beautiful venue locations with all of you! From LI ➡️ CNY, this next venue is located upstate, Schenvus, NY called the @thesparrowhawkvenue 🪶 it is a charming & serene space just moments from Oneonta and Cooperstown!

This modern farmhouse is a refurbished barn from the 1860’s that can host large gatherings or small, intimate events. The outdoor grounds are the perfect photo opportunity for any guest of honor or bride & groom with an onsite vineyard, bridal suite and Silo bar area.

Recent events in this space include bridal/baby showers, proms, weddings, local line dancing classes and outdoor music nights! You can find @empower_fitnezz for private or public line dancing classes in the area! Be sure to follow along 🤠 taken in The Sparrow Hawk by @stargazedevents

Julys flower of the month is a major bride-favorite, Peonies 🌸

They add texture, brilliance and abundance. Fluffy yet intricate… these garden flowers are perfect when in season and they come in a wide variety of colors like white, pink, fushia and burgundy.

Succulents are simple yet sweet. The perfect way to incorporate earthy elements into your wedding theme. These plants add the perfect amount of texture and depth to any bouquet or centerpiece arrangement. They also make great party favors! In my happy place 🌸✨

Thank you to the lovely @sarahheppellphotography for the amazing photos & networking event!

I thought I’d share a few things about me ⭐️⤵️

1. I started Stargazed Photography in 2012 while finishing up my associates in Photographic Imaging 📸 From there, my side business eventually transformed to @stargazedevents in November 2019 where I wanted to blend my passion for all party staples: flowers, photography, balloons, coordination & design.

2. I’m currently one semester away from my BA in dietetics, studying nutrition 🍎🫐🍇 where I eventually want to merge my two passions together. Can’t wait to see where the road takes me!🛣️

3. Born & raised on LI 🌊 but now CNY has my ❤️

4. I’m a Virgo 🌎♍️ I have “type A” tendencies but a “type B” personality. I think being an Earth sign keeps me grounded. I sometimes like to say I’m an extroverted introvert 😂 I value balance!

5. Some of my hobbies include cooking, being in nature (hiking, canoeing, camping), and anything where I can use my creativity like writing, singing, crafting…💛

6. Some of my main nutrition interests include PCOS, Gastrointestinal health, Hormone health, as well as community nutrition, and learning more about food policies🍎 I also love how food/cooking brings people together and is rooted in culture.

7. My current business focus for Stargazed is helping others with luxury wedding invitations, making faux floral designs for weddings/special events, and making creations for my Etsy shop. In between it all, I love sharing various inspiration & in some cases, I am still available for photography services in the CNY area✨

8. Last but not least, I love to explore, and it doesn’t have to be an expensive vacation. There is so much beauty to see in the world. Its important to savor the little things 😊
