BTS of getting @stargurltt to do the “Asake JKO GRWM” for her birthday 😅
I didn’t realise until editing this that I’m truly a typical Nigerian mum — perfectionist to the core! I wanted her to nail every part, and I was definitely a bit too hard on her 😭
But it was worth it in the end because you guys LOVED it! 😅😂🥰

We’re currently in the phase where she wants to help with everything.

“Mom, can I try?”
“Mom, can I do it?”
“I can do it myself, Mom!”

It takes so much patience (and the grace of God 😅) not to lose it sometimes. But watching her grow in confidence and independence is such a beautiful thing.

Children truly are a gift, and I can honestly say I absolutely love being this girl’s mother. 🥹🤍

This vlog has been sitting in my gallery collecting dust, but today I finally decided to dust it off for you lot 😂🤍

Funny enough, Tiara isn’t even the biggest cake fan, but one day she randomly asked to bake a vanilla sponge cake and I thought, “Aww, cute little bonding moment.”

Guys… the moment we started, I immediately began reconsidering my life choices 😭🤣

And not this tiny madam telling you all SHE was the one teaching ME how to bake 💀😂

I had to keep reminding myself every 2 minutes that this was supposed to be quality mother-daughter bonding time because the chaos was actually unmatched 😭

But somehow, against all odds, the cake turned out beautiful and we survived the experience 🤣🤍
