“No one can survive reality. We have to find our solace in dreams.”🌊🔔🧜🏼‍♀️

I loved this book so so much!
A Study in Drowning was one of the first fantasy books I ever read and I completely fell in love with it, so I couldn’t wait to read the sequel (and it absolutely did not disappoint🤩)

I absolutely adore Effy🥹 She’s so strong, even though she doesn’t see herself that way. She’s not the kind of character who wields a sword or fights battles, but I believe there are so many different kinds of strength… and hers is resilience❤️‍🩹
I feel so connected to her and there were so many moments when I saw myself in her💗

Preston was my first book boyfriend and I loved getting to read his POV in this book! Seeing his thoughts and the way he talks about Effy is genuinely so heartwarming🥺❤️ I love them so so much💗
