This weekend I had the most beautiful time meeting up with my best friends from York uni. I am blessed and my heart is full ❤️ Nearly 30 years on we just about recognised each other (mainly poor eyesight) but within minutes it was like we were all 20/21 again (until we tried to stand up). Back then we enjoyed life it all its fullness together - we played, praised, prayed and partied together… and a few of us married North Coast girls 🥰 A highlight was a day in Stu’s incredible studio near Coleraine, recording a special song that Joel composed for the occasion. Will you ever hear it in full? 🤷🏻‍♂️ - but that wasn’t the point. taken in Portstewart by @starkiethescot

20 years of school runs 🚕 officially comes to an end today! 🙌🏻 But I know I will miss them more than I think I understand right now. I’m so proud of our children, who know who they are, and who they are loved by. Many years of change, many beginnings and endings (and the weird non-endings/beginnings of the pandemic). Well done Samuel for working hard, being a success and earning your university offer. Whether it was your various colours of mohawks, leading Bible studies on the primary school football pitch with your Child’s Picture Bible, dealing with bullies, showing love to the marginalised, and navigating and entirely new environment in recent years, you have remained bold, courageous, faithful and, always, always, unapologetically you. Happy 50th (no I can’t believe it either🤩) birthday to my beautiful, gifted, brilliant, and brave (see the last photo!) wife @emmafaithstark . I love you so much! ❤️
Doesn’t she look like she is getting younger and more gorgeous every year? What a joy it is to do this life of courageous faith together. Truly I am blessed and thankful that I get to do this great God-adventure. You fearlessly keep us curious and listening to the Spirit.
