New Mix Out Now

Just uploaded my debut George Nights set from last week combining Liquid, Dancefloor, Drumstep, and Jungle

This mix is quintessentially me, combining what and how i mix now, with a bit of a throwback to the stuff i was playing out back when i started DJing.

Big big thank you to @sam.rangi.davis for having me on

STARMAGEDDON: At Home In the Jungle

Mix Link In Bio

2 Hours, 2 Channels, 72 Tracks

My first solo jungle mix since picking up the genre mid last year that I've been working on in
the background for the past 3 months. This was recorded in 2 parts and to date is the largest
mix I've uploaded.

Shoutout to the bro @brownsugar_nz_ for inspiring me to dive fully into Jungle and introducing me to artists and tracks that I definitely wouldn't have found myself, keep up the great work mate.

This year I plan on uploading mixes more frequently now that they aren't getting immediately
taken down like they were previously. Ideally I'm looking at one hour ish mix every month or
2 so stick around if you want to have a listen when they come out.

As always, to those who have supported me so far, Thank You, it means the world to me
having people enjoy the mixes I do, as music is my passion and playing out is one of the
best feelings ever.

Been pretty quiet round here since new years, so when i saw @follow_the_craft and @streetflicker 's blend comp for their upcoming Dance Intelligence tour at @pointersbarnz and @hide.club a few weeks back, I decided to chuck my hat into the ring for the Akl slot. As part of the comp i was challenged to blend Streetflicker's banger of a track - At The Disco, so over the past few weeks I've come up with a few that i love, feel free to comment your favourite

All blends: Streetflicker - At The Disco

Other Tracks:

Blend 1 - Double, Live at The Mothership:
Atlantis - Fiji (Def Stereo Bootleg)

Blend 2 - Triple (Arguably my fave) :
1991 - Chant
Sub Focus - Illuminate (Extended Mix)

Blend 3 - Quad
Metrik - Hackers
Metrik - Immortal
Marlon Hoffstat - It's That Time (Dimension Remix)

1 Year Post Solo Debut

Been a while since I've done one of these kinds of posts, but i find it very fitting as today is exactly 1 year since i jumped up on stage solo and debuted as "STARMAGEDDON". Hard to believe its been a year already, but personally i blame that solely on covid screwwing my sense of time up🤣. Regardless, i feel like it has been one of my most fulfilling years ive ever had. Expressing my creative side i never thought i had, befriending amazingly talented people in the space, being out at gigs more weekends than not, and witnessing live (and in some cases meeting) artist who ive been listening to for years, i could not have asked for an any better first year in the scene.

As a bit of a celebration, i have recorded a best of year 1 set, comprised of (mostly) mixes done live in clubs that i feel has been my best work. Providing copyright doesnt give me any headaches, it should be up on my mixcloud, accessed via my Linktree.

A massive thank you to all of who have been supporting me this past year, it means more than i could ever express, and i hope you will be looking forward to what i cook up in the next year.

SATURDAY 16TH NOVEMBER

Managed to snag a cheeky set on the next Bassment Local Roll Call, 1:30 - 2:00 in the open decks room.
As the 1 year of Starmageddon live on stage rapidly approaches, i have decided to return to my roots with a multi-genre set as a tribute to how i started djing.

The countdown is ON. It’s only Monday and I’m already ready for the weekend.

This Friday. Time to SHOW OFF with Dubstep!

We would like to introduce @starmageddon.nz who will be one of our DJs on the night. Big welcome to the Show Off whānau! A bit about him:

Starmageddon A.K.A Daze is a 19 year old multi genre DJ hailing from Pukekohe, Auckland

Starmageddon’s love of EDM started young, listening to Eurodance as a child and Dubstep/ Drum & Bass while gaming as a teen. This love culminated in Starmageddon getting into the world of Djing in June 2023, and participating in the 2023 Your Shot DJ competition.

After more than half a year of hiatus from the realm of dubstep, Starmageddon returns to form in spectacular fashion, bringing unique melodies from the worlds of Colour Bass and Melodic Dubstep, with a few brostep cult classics thrown in for good measure.

Taking inspiration from the likes of Skrillex, Teminite, Ace Aura & ELEPS, Starmageddon aims to provide the audience an experience that strays away from the modern dubstep status quo.

We are SO EXCITED to have Starmageddon perform this Friday night! Facebook event page with links to tickets in our link in bio.
