“I’m sorry, Jayce.”

His brain takes longer to understand what’s happening. His mouth catches up faster.

“No,” he says, in a breath.

Viktor raises the arm wearing the bracelet. The crackle of ozone after an electric storm. The runes stir, glow, levitate, a swirling spiral of magic and incandescent blue light around Jayce.

And only around Jayce.

“I hope you can forgive this too,” Viktor says, as his eyes glow blue.

“NO!”

Aaahhh! I am so completely normal about this fanfic! And so normal about Javyik too. Just a regular amount of obsessed. I love how @sabakucosplay created her cosplay based on mage Viktor from this fanfic! Her, @pearlik.photo and I travelled up the Austrian mountains for this last winter and @sabakucosplay seriously froze for this set but I looove the outcome so so so much 🥹

A sudden gust of wind sweeps across the field, whipping snowflakes around him. Jayce looks back.

There’s something about the way Victor is standing there that makes his blood run cold.

Maybe it’s the naked sorrow in his eyes or the determination in the line of his shoulders as he leans on his twisted staff. Maybe it’s because he knows that look. It’s the look that comes before Viktor does something monumentally stupid.

“I’m sorry, Jayce.”

The biggest thanks to @sabakucosplay for suffering through this photoshoot with me - I’m so happy with our results - but I want to acknowledge that this project was no joke and the pain is real (and the temporary frost damage too). Thank you for your trust - and your endurance too! I can’t wait to see where we’ll take your Viktor next.

It's insane to me that I got to know so many lovely, amazing, creative people through cosplay. When I had my long planned Viktor sh00ting with @malimoria our lovely assistant @pearlik.photo took out their own camera at the very end and we got to take these super quick pics! So happy we got to know each other and hopefully have many more projects together yet to come! 🤍

Perfect use of free will? 👀❄️

While we were reading our fav Jayvik fanfic "The Line is Covered in Jellyfish" we had the idea of a post finale Viktor photo shooting. We did a lot of location scouting and research as we wanted a very specific atmosphere: deep in a winter forest and trees with bent branches covered in heavy snow.

The cosplay was made in time and the weather was PERFECT too. We were so relieved as we wouldn't have been able to reschedule this project until next year. 🫣 Luckily everything worked out in the end. 😮‍💨

And as Jayce has the biggest heart, it is a big shadow too. Reading how Viktor learns to accept being loved as he is and let himself want things in life again moved us deeply when we read the extraordinary Jayvik fanfiction "The Line is Covered in Jellyfish" by @staroverdork - Without spoilers: We tried to recreate a part of the story where Viktor regrets something he did, now all alone, breaking down.

When you and your friends realise you have free will 🫣❄️

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to @staroverdork! They’re the creator of “The line is covered in jellyfish”, a fantastic Jayvik fanfic @sabakucosplay and I are obsessed with - and which was the main inspiration for this winter madness! We got so much joy reading and bonding over this story, we knew we had to pay homage to it somehow.

During a recent discussion about AI vs location photoshoots, someone brought up the point that not everyone can afford to do these trips and how that makes using programs like Meitou “valid”. I understand that not everyone might have access to specific locations or the ability to easily get there but doing location photoshoots doesn’t need to be expensive or difficult. Honestly, it’s mostly a question of effort.
Just for the record, this trip cost me 20€ (for the lift) & 6€ (for a bowl tasty gulasch soup) & gas money divided by 3.

My first time cosplaying from a fanfiction! As you all know, I love Viktor from @arcaneshow a LOT and plan to cosplay all his versions. While reading my absolute fav fanfiction "The Line is Covered in Jellyfish" during the last year I knew I had to somehow pay tribute to it too, so I decided to cosplay "JellyVik", a Viktor after the final episode. My outfit is heavily influenced by Mage Viktor in season 1 too!

I'll be having a proper shooting with this cosplay!!! SOON!!! I am so hyped already! 🦋

Happy Valentines! What better to post today than my new Viktor cosplay?! Still in love with him after all haha!

This cosplay is 100% made out of leftovers from my stock and heavily inspired by Viktor's mage outfit of S1 Act 1 and my fav Jayvik fanfic "The Line is Covered in Jellyfish"! This is how I imagine his look after the final episode.

Will post a video about the process of making this cosplay soon! 🦋

(Still missing here: his runestone bracelet and his still hexcorized hand.)
