One of my stylist @mavis.makeover made this for me for her going away gift ❤️🥺 thank you Mavis! I freaking love it! It really has been a pleasure working with you, and I will always cherish the good times we’ve had. I wish you the best of luck in all of your future endeavors, and I appreciate you more than you know 💕 by @starrla1113

Confidence vs Vanity

What does it mean to you?

There’s definitely a fine line in my eyes, but to me being confident is about feeling secure in your own skin, and knowing you are enough without seeking validation from others, while vanity is acting like you’re over confident, but in all actuality you are always seeking validation from others trying to prove your worth.

Working in the beauty industry this crosses my mind from time to time. Believe it or not this was not what I planned on doing for a career 🤪😅 but once I realized how much just hair alone can help with someone’s confidence I was all in, but guess what!? Since then I have realized that nine times out of ten it’s not even about what’s on the outside it’s about how you feel about yourself on the inside that matters, so love yourself, be yourself, and know that YOU ARE ENOUGH ♥️ by @starrla1113
