When people ask me about Singapore, I most often say: "It was amazing". In fact, I just don't have so many words to describe all the emotions. For me, it was not just three weeks of studying.

It was very scary at first. But actually, I haven't felt so comfortable in class for a long time. It's so valuable when professors treat you like an old friend they've known for a long time. Ruth and Sharan are two of my favorite teachers. From the very first week, I dreamed of going to Ruth's spin class. God, I was so happy when I saw that she would be teaching my class. You can always talk to Sharan and most of all I loved playing charades with the lesson vocabulary.

But none of this would have been possible without the people who surrounded me. First of all, I want to say a huge thank you to the guys from Japan and China. I have not seen so much kindness and sincerity for a long time. You always lifted my mood just by your smile. Some of you I haven't interacted with much because I didn't have the courage to approach you, but you're all insanely cool.

Two weeks out of three wouldn't have been as fun without my desk mate Rina, with whom we talked about everything in the world, wrote a bunch of essays, and laughed at different life stories

Girls from our Russian group. Thank you for all the warm moments and conversations, shopping trips and walks in the rain.

But there is one person who was with me 24/7. Who tolerated my antics, ran from the pole at 1 a.m., loved matcha and everything related to it. Vasya, without you this trip wouldn't have been so funny. Your alarm clock is the best I've ever seen. Spontaneous night walks. Thank you for all the warm and fun evenings in our room, for all the fruit you brought with the words "I'm here to cheer you up". I can't imagine my trip without you.
