Horimiya 🎀

Romance peaked with Horimiya (*'▽'*) I fell in love with their dynamic, relationship, and how vulnerable they are with each other from the beginning. There’s so many untold stories that were left out of the anime and I started the manga to see what I’m missing out. This manga holds a special place in my heart cuz their story is similar to my own relationship; I have a soft spot for the friends to lovers trope, it’s the best way to experience romance ♡

Love is War 🏹

It feels great to read one of the best romance series out there ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ Love is War is my go to romcom, I have a serious weak spot for shonen romance. I’ve re watched the series countless times but it was about time I started to read the manga. There’s chapters that are skipped and I know the content up ahead is gonna get cut out of the anime. Already loved the movie theater chapter, these two are so awkward early on it’s hilarious to see them interact.

During the second volume, our couple moved (somewhat) forward by exchanging contact info. It takes them some time to actually talk but Hayasaka convinces Kaguya to call Shirogane and catch him offguard but it’s his family that completely throws her off, and the fact that he was in the bath (*_*) This impromptu call ends with Kaguya hanging up midway through Shiroganes sentence but all in all a win since he sends her a text goodnight right after~

Chainsaw Man Pt.1 💣

If you’re here from my previous account you know I was originally an outdoorsy post type of creator. I loved exploring different layouts and combining the covers of my mangas to the nature that surrounded me. Sometime between finishing university and starting work I found myself with no time for what I loved. I’m trying to reignite that passion with a combination of outdoorsy posts for my larger series and some solo indoor posts for my ongoing reads. At this point I probably sound like a broken record but I really do love this community and its incredible group of people. I know Instagram and the algorithm HATE long captions but I’m a reviewer at heart and that is what I’ll continue to do. For now, have some of my favorite panels from pt.1 ☆
