Annual meet the artist post!!
.
Yall, 2025 was NOT the best year for me. A lot of crazy / bad things happened, but through it all there were amazing moments too. I achieved many of my big goals like getting top surgery, starting a shop, going to a lot of concerts, playing guitar again, etc. I’m also glad that I got to make new friends and grow closer with old ones. Thank you to everyone who has stuck around here too, I appreciate all of you!! 2026 is already off to a great start! Anyways that’s enough from me lol. I hope everyone has a great year, because you deserve it 💚

3d model of my friend Hanan! This was my first time doing hair simulations and it was definitely a challenge, but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out :P
Modeled in Zbrush + Maya, textured in Substance Painter

MCR bedroom I made for my Lighting & Surfacing class! The assignment was to create a scene based on some already existing concept art. This was my first time trying stylized textures, I think I did alright. I would’ve liked to keep working on this but I had a deadline lol.

Inspired by @artbylid please go check out their work! I can’t fit the original drawing here but I’ll post it on my story

The third and final drawing I made for my final in tablet drawing class! I chose to explore the topic of how relationships changing can warp feelings towards a place from childhood.

This drawing is based on a picture of me as a kid playing ds, with my current self sitting on the bed. It shows how I’ve grown and changed as a person. (I chose to give myself red hair even though it hasn’t looked like that for a few months to keep with the color theme across the pieces! It just made more sense to me)

The second drawing I made for my final in tablet drawing class! I chose to explore the topic of how relationships changing can warp feelings towards a place from childhood.

This drawing is based on a picture of my cousins, sibling, and I at our grandparent’s old house on New Year’s Eve. The original picture was from 2011, but I changed the year to 2025 instead since it was a significant year in my life and represented many big changes.

The first of three drawings I made for my final in tablet drawing class! I chose to explore the topic of how relationships changing can warp feelings towards a place from childhood.

This drawing is based on a picture of little me in my kitchen, but the items on the table have been replaced with themes in my current life I never would’ve predicted.

The other day I got to meet Hail The Sun and give them this drawing I made, and I’m so grateful for it!
Long story short, their music really helped me through a lot, I’ve found myself relating to a lot of their songs. Getting to meet the band was awesome too they were all so nice and of course put on an amazing show.

I had a whole long cringe ass caption I was going to post but I’ll save it for another day. I love Hail The Sun sm
