I was invited as a last minute stand in to @dcwaf patron dinner at our brand new Silva amenity @alysbeach. Both @royestate and @revanawinery were featured. I enjoyed reconnecting with Dr. Revana from my Napa days and meeting Bryan from Roy and winemaker Rose from Revana. We shared old stories from the past and it filled my heart and soul. Every time I dig thru the wine cellar to find the WOTN, it's a physical time capsule of our time in Napa. Slowly, but surely, all the special wines with memories are being removed to enhance a meal or a moment for us. Its not lost on me that we had an amazing 9 years in the Napa Valley. Tonight, I chose a '14 Altvs by @meruswinery that we picked up during a visit that I'm pairing with my favorite tune from the new @stickfiguremusic album (and ribs). #cheers by @stashlinpcb
