I saw a video of a small house in Italy—full of flowers, in a quiet town where neighbors know your name, treat you like family, and genuinely care. A place where your story is welcomed and remembered. 🌸

It hit me so hard because it is so difficult to find that feeling in Miami—a city so full of people, yet so empty of real heart. I actually looked up homes in Italy, wondering: Will I finally find my place?

After years of profound loss, I’ve tried so hard to rebuild a family, a tribe, a home... and yet, the void remained.

Do you ever feel that emptiness too?

Sitting on the water after September 11th, thinking of how fast “someday” can vanish, I remembered what my mother said to me: “True happiness and a life worth living 1,000 times over isn’t a location you find. It’s a life you create”.

My aunt always tells me: “Life is two days, Carla—and one was yesterday.”

I’m done waiting for someday. I’m not running away to Italy—I am building that exact warmth, depth, and family right here through STASHON X.

My mother painted the most incredible skies when she was alive. Before she left, she told me that whenever I saw a sky that took my breath away, it was her painting it for me.

She told me that her life with my dad, with me and the family, had been so amazing, that if she could live it again, she would live it 1000 times over, even with all the negatives, because the good times were so amazing, they erased all the bad… At that moment I couldn’t say the same about my own life…

I promised her she could go in peace because I would stop at nothing to be happy again and build a life I’d want to live 1,000 times over.

That promise wasn’t just a comfort in a dark moment—it became the foundation, the spirit, and the manifesto behind @stashonx . Every experience, every adventure, every decision, every step forward is rooted in living fully and honoring that vow, while we help people do the same for themselves.
