MAT DAY at Angle Wall

Empty floor → fresh mats → a mountain of holds ready for our route setters.
Watch the full transformation unfold in this timelapse.
Huge respect to the install team at Core Climbing, even after a massive delay
due to a vehicle issue, turned up and got the mats installed perfectly.
Can you spot the hold that will make you sweat the most?
Comment below and tag your climbing buddy who needs to see this.
Reopening is just around the corner. New problems, new challenges, and plenty of chaos.
Watch the full timelapse above.

First community route setting night and the walls went from bare to buzzing.
Everyone showed up, everyone got stuck in. Holds on the floor, ladders out, Tenzing in the bucket — just a room full of people who love climbing building something for themselves.
This is what it is supposed to feel like.
Come climb what we built. Routes are live now.

Walls or axes, we do not really do sitting still.
Tenzing just dropped White Peach and it might be the best one yet.
Refreshing, crisp, and now my go-to..

Check my bio for 25% off of Tenzing

No wind up. No drama. Just from the hip straight into the bullseye.
This is what happens when you stop overthinking and just throw.
Come find out what you’re capable of.

Bit of a mix today

Carboot mornings, then over to the wall where the little one had more energy than all of us put together

Climbs, laughs, and a proper proud daddy moment watching her send it to the top while I just tried to keep up

Tenzing keeping me going in the background, starting to think we’re just there for support and bag carrying

Bit quiet on here this week

Axes have been getting a proper workout, and the wall’s already showing it

Back at it now

Yesterday Angle re-opened it's doors to its bouldering wall, which has been completely redesigned, after an unfortunate closure due to a sewage pipe leak last year.

Here's some cheeky @djiglobal Neo2 footage before everyone flooded in yesterday.

Behind the scenes @static_and_stone has been busy fully renovating the wall and getting things in motion to reopen.

I want to thank Matt and @angleentertainmentuk for letting me come in again and route set.

@coreclimbing the matting you installed is perfect, and the holds you supplied have been so much fun to work with.

I have some great ideas for future boulder problems... come and let me know what you think!

This was the calm before we opened.
Now it’s the end of a long day. Congratulations to all our winners.
Big thanks to all the companies for their support today, and to everyone who came in and used the new space.
Properly tired — back at it tomorrow. taken in Angle Gaming Peterborough by @static_and_stone

Big thanks to everyone who has contributed to this drop.

Everything here is going into the hands of climbers soon.

What are you trying to win first — and where would you use it? Gym or real rock?

Big thanks to Dirtbags for sending this over for the giveaway this weekend.

This belt and chalk bag are made from retired climbing rope, proper bits of kit given a second life. Love seeing old equipment repurposed into something new, and if they could talk, imagine the stories.
