Our 2nd release and our first new music in (gulp) six years is live everywhere today, rn (link in profile). This has been a pretty crazy process for us and we’re real proud of this music. Please like and share to your story if you feel so inclined. It’s like we say to our wives all the time… “cmaaaaan it only takes 2 seconds” The first 4 are songs we started working on together before Jeff sorta suddenly ish relocated back to Philadelphia in 2019. When COVID hit and we were all stuck inside anyway, we busted out the home recording rigs, got to work on our parts remotely and handed it all over to the masterful Aaron Hellam in Oakland to mix and master (right after our brilliant and sultry-voiced homey Ben Flanagan threw down on track 4 for us and Jeff’s lovely wife Alicia provided harmonies on track 3!) The 5th track is from our very first sessions together in 2016 at Dustin Smith’s beautiful home studio in Concord CA. Sortakinda forgot about this one for awhile but recently tripped over it again and it sure sounded worthy to be part of this release. Even though it was entirely recorded 7 years ago, it lined up sonically with the other 4 in a pretty crazy way. Also props to our three F Dawgs Finn, Fergus & Fran for agreeing to rep us on the cover. We live in 3 different parts of the country now and we’re parents and business owners and stuff; so getting live shows on the books has proven difficult between all that combined with the world coming out of the COVID lockdowns and everyone and their mother being ready AF to tour again. But hoping for early 2024 in the West and later 2024 in the East. Keep it here for updates and in the meantime, PLEASE SHARE THIS POST TO YOUR STORY if you like the music. Takes less than 2 seconds and it’ll help us a ton with getting this stuff out into the world. Thank you all! by @staticandsurrender

Tune in tmrw night at 8:30p EDT / 5:30p PDT as our obnoxious singer does shallow solo renditions of our tunes after he plays songs from his stupid solo career too. What a hack. Link on his dumb profile page at @jeffcmpbll by @staticandsurrender
