Traditional grip isn’t just a way to hold the stick , it’s history in your hands.

Born from marching drummers who needed to play comfortably on angled drums, it evolved into a style that carries a completely different feel, touch, and expression. From the war calls to the kit, it’s all about finesse, control, and nuance.

Where matched grip is power… traditional grip is conversation.

It forces you to listen more, play lighter, and find tone in places most players overlook.

Not better. Not worse.
Just a different language.

Building tone from the ground up.

Segmented shells in alternating hardwoods, each piece cut, fitted, and glued to create a structure that’s as strong as it is beautiful. When the geometry comes together like this, the drum almost starts speaking before a head ever touches it.

Handmade shells, built one segment at a time. 🥁
