I am a Black MAN!..... I build .... I don't tear down other MEN! ....I have felt the pain of being torn down and I have decided I will be deliberate about building others! If I didn't tag you, please don't be offended. I tried to pick people I thought would do this challenge!! All too often, we men find it easier to criticize each other, instead of building each other up. With all the negativity going around let's do something positive!!🌟 💫
Upload 1 picture of yourself...ONLY you. Then tag as many brothers to do the same. (IG only allows 20). Let's build ourselves up, instead of tearing ourselves down. 🖤🖤 COPY AND PASTE 🖤🖤
If I tagged you, don't disappoint me!! by @stavos_way

💊 Truth is…

Sometimes we judge the test too soon. I’ve realized that life has a way of applying pressure before we understand its purpose. We’ll mistaken the hardest moments for signs that things were falling apart, but in hindsight will realize that things were falling into place. We’ll judge a situation before we’ve seen what it’s capable of producing.

Laud Collective created a principle called the ESREVER Effect based on that logic…words appear backwards and confusing on a hand stamp until pressure is applied. Only then does the impression reveal a message that was there all along. Many of life’s struggles are the same way. Sometimes it’s the pressure of uncertainty, disappointment, or having our plans interrupted that brings the clarity that we couldn’t find in comfort.

I believe there’s purpose in every struggle, even if that purpose isn’t ours to benefit from. Sometimes the lesson is for us…while other times our experience becomes the wisdom to pass on. I’ve learned to be patient enough to pull a lesson from all of my experiences, both “good or bad”.

Pressure doesn’t change the message…it simply reveals what we couldn’t see before…💊

💊 Truth is…

Some people will paint you wrong just to make their feelings look right.

A lie needs listeners, and resentment feels more righteous when it has company. (READ THAT TWICE)

As the listener👂🏾🤚🏾, you have to ask yourself “does what I see and what they say line up? 🤔”

As the person being painted🎨, you have to protect your peace by remembering that their portrait is only a reflection of their perspective…not your identity.

🗣️🤚🏾 Don’t use someone else’s canvas as your mirror.

Truth is…

Creating content has never been natural for me.

I come from a background of building businesses face to face… real conversations, real connections, real energy. Social media has always felt uncomfortable because so much of it feels like a constant “look at me.”

And if I’m being real…

I’ve always been the type of person that would rather be felt than be seen or heard.

So for a long time, I struggled with figuring out how to connect with people online in a way that didn’t compromise who I am.

But growth demands discomfort.

I knew if I wanted to give Laud the attention and purpose it deserves, I had to step outside of what felt comfortable.

So over the past year, I intentionally created this space.

Not just for branding.

Not just for content.

But for healing.

A place where I can think clearly. Create freely. Find peace. Process life.

Because truthfully…

These last few years have tested me in ways I never expected.

At first, I didn’t understand why I was going through so much.

But looking back now…

The message is clear.

Everything I’ve been through was preparing me for this.

Welcome to COUCH THERAPY!

A space where I’ll be vulnerable enough to share the battles I’ve fought internally… how I process those battles… and the lessons I’ve learned while healing through them…

And my hope is that somewhere in these conversations…someone finds clarity in battles they’re fighting too.

Couch Therapy — Session 1 coming soon.

When you physically look at the bottom of a hand stamp, the words and objects are in esrever (reverse) order.

In its raw state, the message on the stamp is visually the exact opposite of its intended purpose. To the naked eye, it looks backwards, unreadable, and confusing - similar to tough times that we face. But only after pressure gets applied does the confusion go away, as the message gets revealed!

MESSAGE:
That pressure that you feel right now isn’t there to crush you; it’s to ensure that when the pressure gets released, the message and your purpose is permanent, bold, and clear - just like a hand stamp! Make sense?

Medicinal uses - we all experience tough times, but you must grow through what you go through by making adjustments based on lessons you learned during those tough times.
