Cute lil spot to get work done in between hikes, bike rides, jacuzzi dips, and board games 🙃 by @staywellhouse

We just visited Big Bear for the first time since the fires. A big thank you to all the firefighters and auxiliarry support that went into fighting the Line Fire and protecting forests and property. From the Watch Duty fire maps it seemed like the fire was creeped right up to town, so I was surprised that much of the burn areas were not visible along the main roads around town. The other thing that was immediately apparent was how harsh the terrain is to actually fight a wild fire! 👩‍🚒🚒🙏

Upstairs camp vibes for the kiddos! We just stayed here over the weekend and wow the lake is looking pretty magical right now. Fullest we’ve seen the lake in the past few years and the forest is still looking green. 🚣🏕️☀️#bigbearlake #aframecabin by @staywellhouse
