FULL CIRCLE MOMENT STORY TIME; The illustrious & notorious BEAUT was my first time for many things, working on decor for a club, celebrating the beauty in queer expression - then had the honour to choreograph THAT runway for PSY-KLZ CLUBSPORT @winged_mammal (I hear it brought people to tears) - there were so many creatives I was working around at various times but one that always stood out for many reasons was @_somethingsht_ โ€ข Fast forward ten years and now Iโ€™ve played music around the world, my favourites being those same spaces where people can express themselves so freely - but when creating music it naturally comes out dark, ambient, cinematic; made to soundtrack colours, spaces & movement more than dancefloors alone. So when asked to curate the noises for the runway at @ozkinkfest_au for @_somethingsht_ it really felt like a full circle moment in my creative life, and a chance to challenge myself - Iโ€™m so excited for these surreal sounds Iโ€™ve been working on and how theyโ€™ll make people feel. I have actually been wanting to write music for runways for ages, I love hearing a creators vision and turning their words & textures into sounds, makes my brain tickle. I also realised I get to now celebrate ten years of chronic pain, (literally not a single day without pain for a decade, how fun!) and the reason I say celebrate is because without it I wouldnโ€™t have the life I have now - and Iโ€™ve been working extra hard the past two years on my nervous system and getting stronger, and although Iโ€™m just as sore as ever sometimes I feel like a new person out and about in the world. & what better way to step out onto the worlds stage than having my very own runway debut diva moment - SHES A MODEL, BABY! ( which is kinda funny cause I was also a model when I was a babyโ€ฆ) Very surreal to be walking the runway in a gorgeous old town hall alongside some of my favourite creative creatures (just you wait) to my own music? Who even is she? TL; DR I AM WRITING THE MUSIC FOR A RUNWAY SHOW AND ALSO MODELLING FOR A BRAND I HAVE FOLLOWED FOR TEN YEARS A big thank you to @patty_smack for bringing me into this vision - letโ€™s do the thingggggggf by @staywise
