BREAKING - CANCELLATION
•
The St. Catharines Chicks regret to inform fans that tonight’s meet and greet with outfielder Dan Gallardi and utility man Vinny Fattore has been cancelled.
•
Due to concerns regarding the recent COVID-19 outbreak, Gallardi and Fattore will no longer be meeting with fans in the 4th Avenue Wal-Mart parking lot.
•
As an alternative, fans are encouraged to sign up at Energy Fitness Studio where they can view power slugger, Owen Peacock, working biceps and triceps tonight between 6 to 9 PM. Snacks and refreshments will be provided by Peacock himself.
•
We appreciate the support and understanding at this time. Thank you.

•
The St.Catharines Chicks are proud to call the McCaffery Sports Complex home for Spring Training ahead of the 2020 season.
•
What were the Chicks discussing in the outfield during today’s workout? Was it (A) the status of Riley Soldwisch’s torn ACL or (B) the big offseason signing of a former rival player? 👀 Tune into our story to find out...

As the little girl in ‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ would say, “Every time a bell rings, Riley’s new tinder message dings!l 🛎

Name: Kyle Adams
Position: LF
Nickname: K-y, Gilettes, Taz, K-y FM, Kyler Murray
•
During the inaugural season, Pete Marconi knew he struck gold with this former NCAA Lacrosse star. Adams was scouted from the University of Mount Union in Ohio. After multiple workouts, Marconi made his decision stating, “a $100 bill drops in front of you... what are gunna do? Not pick it up?” Adams was immediately signed, and remains the highest paid player, receiving a 6-year deal worth 250 Corey coins.
•
Throughout the off-season, the part time car model can be found in the Sunshine State, patrolling the coast of Indian Shores. He assumes the role of local tour guide, and King Pin of multiple beach side properties. This upcoming Winter, Adams will be honored at the Salt Rock Grill restaurant, as his new signature dish “the Johnny O’Keefsky Prime Rib” will make its debut. The dish also comes with a side order of “collard greens.”
•
K-Y FM was recently given the role of “Little Nic” in this year’s upcoming Niagara Christmas Pageant presentation of the Nut Cracker Special. His role includes helping Mr. Claus, as well as creating the show’s soundtrack. It was recently rumored that Adams selected an inordinate amount of Future and Young Thug, including the 2017 album Super Slimey, which is to be featured throughout the play. Director, Christopher Von Glemsky, has yet to comment on the controversial music. When told his selections may drive viewers away, Adams stated “oh reallllly?”
•
If fans wish to meet the 3 time Gold Glover, Adams will be looking to defend his title as “Mr. Halloween Niagara” this upcoming weekend at the Capri Hotel and Suites on Ontario street. There is rumor circulating that the speedster will once again dress up in his signature Drunk Batman costume, which the locals praise him for.

Thanks to everyone who came out today to the Chick’s meet and greet session with Adrian Gentile and Cree Blakely.
•
Blakely gained 13 new Instagram followers from today’s interactions, after being confused for Chad Michael Murray from Disney’s “A Cinderella Story.”
•
Gentile on the other hand lost 5 followers (not pounds), and 3 buttons off his jersey.

Name: Owen Peacock
Position: OF
Nickname: Peaks, Junior, Juney, JR, JR No Tarp
•
You thought we only had one former Junior B player? You thought wrong!
•
When the now retired West Jet flight attendant isn’t patrolling the outfield grounds at Mccaffery Park, he can be found at the “iron factory,” better known as Energy Fitness Studio. The top heavy slugger is best know for setting the treadmill to “homerun trot” and causally jogging. Peacock is available for 1 on 1 training, focusing strictly on upper body toning.
•
Most recently, Environment Canada approached Peacock about the possibility of using his 6 pack abs as a temporary tourist attraction. With the constant eroding of the Western Mountains, Peacock was welcomed to lay down in Banff National Park, and allow tourists to climb his torso. The fit outfielder happily accepted, stating “If my tarps off, then I’m in.”
•
Some call Peacock an influencer because of his strong social media presence. When not posting one of his record setting 15 shirtless Instagram posts, the slugger can be found sharing photos of his dog Cooper. Recently, Instagram flagged Peacock’s account for “fishy” content. He now joins teammate Cree Blakely on the suspended account list.
•
Peacock is currently seeking to fill out the rest of his tattoo sleeve. If you wish to have a personal mural of yourself permanently printed on his upper bicep, please contact and send all etransfers to RileySoldwisch@gmail.com.
