Curious minds build better businesses. This is something I've come to believe after a decade of being curious about marketing. I didn't always have language for this. It took building things inside someone else's company to see the shape of what I actually believe. Now I get to build it on my own terms. And now, I build marketing systems that connect brand, product, & community. Every word here is load-bearing. Systems: because scattered tactics don't stick. because clarity without structure is just hope. because the businesses with real staying power didn't get there by accident. they built something with intent that held. Connect: because brand, product, and community aren't three separate things. they're one thing. marketing, sales, support, and product are all interconnected. when they're misaligned, everything costs more. when they pull in the same direction, the work gets lighter. Brand, product, and community: because these are the places where people decide if they trust you. where you say who you are. where you deliver on it. where you invite people into something larger than a transaction. This is what I want St.Clair Creative to be, to do. It's here. Another timeline finally catching up with this one. St.Clair Creative is officially open, and this logo feels like the right beginning. And something I’ve been sitting with for a long time, commissioned on a whim one random night long ago. This mark is built to hold what the work represents: structure and warmth, clarity and curiosity. Systems that connect brand, product, and community. The name is mine, and also represents the deeper connection to who I am, and how much of myself will make up this work. A few years ago, today, I launched CARE💛, a mental health employee resource group at Downtown – a community with a goal to support the wellbeing and betterment of the people that showed up and supported the business. Since then, I've found myself being more curious and enjoying building things from a small idea. I’ve been quietly building and today felt fitting to start sharing more on where this next iteration of curiosity is taking me. My journey has been in music. Working the last decade at scale, building systems in the creator economy. What I learned is that the best marketing doesn't feel like marketing at all. It feels like recognition. Not manipulation, but intentional understanding. That's what I want to continue building with the other curious businesses. Not just campaigns, but human-centered systems — the kind that create community instead of noise, that connect what a brand says to how it actually shows up. This is where I'll be sharing how I think, what I'm building, and what I've learned from a decade of doing this at scale. If anything lands with you, I'll glad we found each other.
