Be part of the conversation & most importantly - the celebration - surrounding the City of Newburgh and efforts to clean up & protect water.

Join the procession through the City of Newburgh, carrying bold puppets that reflect historic contamination & clean water issues that are part of everyone’s lives. Commemorate the waters flowing into and through our great city and the ongoing advocacy and progress made to ensure clean water for all! 💧

Join us on Saturday, August 29, from 11am. to 3pm. Gathering/Assemble at 11am at Safe Harbors Green with a Parade Kick-off at 12noon & followed by light meal to enjoy by all. Can’t wait to see you there! 🤩 by @ste_384

As I continue to advocate for green spaces in the City of Newburgh, I inherently feel like I’m also advocating for a place of belonging and safety. With a proposed ICE detention center in the Town of Newburgh, and the increasing ICE enforcement actions impacting our community, I’ve been reflecting on older artworks and new ways of expressing the realities we’re living through. I’ve sat with these pieces for a while, and I’m sharing a collection that feels both deeply personal and politically charged. I will continue advocating for our safety. by @ste_384

In May of 2023, TD Bank funded GNPC to plant 10 beautiful trees at South Middle School (SMS). 🏫 Last fall, 2025 EJ Fellows planted two lush pollinator meadows 🌷with community members.

Today, Fellows continue to keep this green space healthy and vibrant for precious pollinators, neighbors, and middle schoolers. 📚 by @ste_384

Throughout this summer, the 2026 EJ Fellows are helping to maintain trees and pollinator meadows we planted in front of South Middle School! 🌟

Hands-on work with Land to Learn helped Fellows continue their amazing work in maintaining & providing green resources in educational settings! 🏫 by @ste_384
