Sifting through the archives & came across this one that I had the privilege of shooting with @rzcinema
I think this was one of my first real steadi jobs from a couple years back (no volt).
I’m glad I learned steadicam without a volt first!

Excited for another year of projects and may 2026 be the year that I finally get to fly for a female DP 🙏😊

Some special BTS moments in ‘Montana’ while shooting @yoyoma , who was playing for a herd of bison to honour their reintroduction back to the lands. The bison haven’t been here for over 100 years due to a US government-led campaign to kill off millions of animals to gain leverage over tribes and supplement their genocide.

I feel incredibly blessed and grateful to be camera operating on these types of projects, which in my opinion are the most important. The reintegration of these sacred herds is an important step, but it’s only just the beginning and we still have a lot of work to do. 🌅 🦬❤️‍🩹.

The DOP of this project who works like a dog to support our community and especially those most vulnerable in the DTES lost their home in a tragic fire last week. If you can afford to donate and support them and their roommates in this difficult time, please do so. Link in bio to donate.

Also special shoutout to @composition_ok for spotting me through a ridiculous 5-minute oner in a field full of bison and potholes, couldn’t have done it without you💙.

“Shaped Us Over Time” - Featuring Gwaliga Hart

For Haida Tourism & The Haida House

We got to spend a few days with Gwaliga on Haida Gwaii at the start of the winter storm season, when winds often exceed 120km/hour. We were lucky to have him show us some of his favourite spots, and tell us about his experience as a wave rider on Haida Gwaii. How the winds have shaped him and the land over time. Thanks to everyone who helped out on this project!

lil (or not so little) Galapagos shark cruising by to say “hai” 🦈 Shot at Kicker Rock, Galapagos 🇪🇨
When I was a kid I can remember sending letters to Stephen Harper about why he should make shark fin soup illegal in Canada. I never heard back from him…I’m sure he’s still planning to get back to me & he’s just been really busy 🤷‍♀️😔. #nofinsnofuture #protectouroceans taken in Galápagos Islands by @steadi.zee
