Missing the sun so much. But the non stop rain is making me reflect and process, which means more writing! These feelings need a place to call home I guess. by @stealthwriter

What if someone answered the songs we all know and love?

Letters Back is a songwriting series created by me, Stealth Writer, where I write lyrical responses to songs released by artists I admire. For each piece, I have imagined the words that were never said back and penned them down as lyrics.

Original melody and composition are inspired by and belong to their respective creators. No ownership of the original song or melody is claimed.

Instrumental created using Suno AI.

Vocals were generated in Suno AI using a recording of my own voice as the vocal reference.

This is a non-commercial concept piece created to showcase my lyric writing, storytelling and songwriting.

I am a lyricist who loves exploring emotion, perspective and the conversations hidden inside songs.

If you've ever wondered what the other side might say, welcome to Letters Back.

We’re surrounded by content.
Songs drop every Friday. Films stream endlessly. Clips go viral in seconds.
But have you noticed that the work that stays with us usually have a story behind it?
Narrative is what makes a song feel like a memory.
It’s what turns a lyric into something personal.
It’s what makes a film scene linger long after it ends.
Without story, even the most polished production can feel empty.
With story, even something simple can move you.
That’s the space I care about.
I work on the narrative side of music and performance, helping shape emotional arcs, character voice and lyrical storytelling so the work feels intentional, cohesive and gripping. Its not about being loud and trendy for the sake of it, it's about depth.
I am always open to collaborating with artists and creatives who care about meaning as much as sound.
Dm me if this resonates with you. by @stealthwriter

12:30am thoughts.

Raw, unpolished and straight from the heart. Sometimes writing isn't about making something perfect. It's just about giving the feeling somewhere else to live.

So I'm letting this one out into the ether, exactly as it came, as part of processing, feeling and letting go.

Maybe someone else needs these words tonight too. 🖤

What happens when everyone seems to find their place in life except you?
Watching people build careers, marriages, families and homes and you are happy for them but also you are still trying to work out where you belong. And when something you've wanted finally comes close, you're terrified it'll disappear.
I wrote this about learning that sometimes the safest home you can build is within yourself.

ADDICTED
Finally, the full song from @amariamcgee
I always fall for 80s sounding songs but the lyrics pull me in even further, the melody is addictive. I know im gonna have this on repeat all summer.

LETTERS BACK 1

What if someone finally sang back? What if someone answered the songs we all know and love?
If you've ever wondered what the other side might say, welcome to Letters Back.

A songwriting series by Stealth Writer, where I write the words that were never said and give a voice to the other side.

Episode 1: "Wasted Times"

Lyrics by Stealth Writer

Inspired by "Wasted Times" by @theweeknd

Original melody and composition belong to their respective creators. No ownership is claimed.

Instrumental and vocals created using Suno AI, with my own voice used as the vocal reference.

Created as a non-commercial concept piece to showcase lyric writing, storytelling and songwriting.

Because every song has two sides.

Last night was PHENOMENAL

Watching @realblackcoffee sell out the @theo2london as the first South African artist to do it felt historic in itself, but hearing his music performed with a live orchestra was a whole other experience.

There’s something about orchestras that completely transform music for me. It adds tension and emotion and suddenly every sound feels cinematic. Hearing Black Coffee’s mix of deep house, soulful vocals and African percussion brought to life was honestly incredible.

What makes it even more powerful is knowing his story. At 14, while celebrating Nelson Mandela’s release, he was involved in an accident that left his left arm paralysed. He learned to DJ and produce using only his right hand, and still became one of the most influential names in electronic music worldwide. That level of resilience will always inspire me.

Also, nobody warned us @aliciakeys was casually going to appear 😭 Hearing “In Common” live shocked the entire arena.

I was sat right at the top with a cracked phone lens trying to capture moments through blurry videos, but honestly I didn’t even care. The energy in that room was everything.

Today I’m sat here with aching knees, sore feet and zero regrets after dancing for 3 hours straight.

A truly special night. Thank you Black Coffee 🖤

One of my fave movies of all time and now the sequel is upon us and I can not wait! The movie soundtrack looks jam packed too which is equally rewarding with tracks from Raye, Lady Gaga, Doechii, Sza, Olivia Dean, Dua Lipa and Miley Cyrus and others.
The movie comes out May 1st (tomorrow!), i am sooooo excited! Channeling my inner Miranda Priestley.
