So this is happening...WEST END DEBUT! @thelionkinguk

This time last year I was at @cssdlondon in rehearsals for my final public production, Shakespeare's Pericles when this Lion King journey started. After several rounds of auditions, it was meant to be at this particular point in my career and I'm so grateful it's happened the way it has. 💯

God's timing and plan is perfect and although never in my wildest dreams I thought I'd be in a musical AND it would be my West End debut AND The Lion King, one of the most iconic productions ever, I look forward to the new challenge. Excited and extremely #GRATEFUL! 🦁👑✨🙏🏿

Big love to my amazing agents @sdalondon and the wonderful casting team Pippa Ailion and Natalie Gallacher! ❣️✨🎭

Instead of Goodbye, I'll say, See You Later Delroy. 👋🏿

What an awesome ride I had over the last 7 weeks. I was on the best high. I am so so grateful and honoured I was able to tell Delroy's truth. A true story that is sadly very much relevant.

A big thank you to each and every person that came to support. I did 32 shows and each show there was atleast 1 person there cheering Sted on. That meant the world to me and I didn't take it for granted. Thank you for all the well wishes via DMs and texts too. I know many of you wish you were able to be there but weren't able to be.

Shout out to my Montserrat people. You guys really and truly showed up for your boy and it meant so much. 💚🥺🤗🇲🇸

SUS was a treat to do as an actor but even more important for society to see. We live in an oppressive world and theatre is one of our ways as artists to fight against injustices. I pray each person that got to see SUS walked away wanting to help affect change so we can all try and make stories like Delroys cease to exist.

Big shout out to SDA my agents, @dilatedtheatre and @parktheatrelondon. Appreciate the opportunity.

God bless you all. ❤️🙏🏿🤗

EXT. MARINE VILLAGE – LATE AFTERNOON, JUST BEFORE SUNSET

Sted spots Frank from afar, camera in hand.

STED: Frank, wa go? You a tek pickcha yeah?

FRANK: Yeah man, just testing out this lens with the lighting.

Some people pay for these views 💛🇲🇸

——

STED: Tek some pickcha of me, man!

FRANK: Might be tricky because I don’t have the short lens.

STED: It’ll be alright, man. I’ll be your subject. 😂

FRANK: Alright, leh we go!

An impromptu #photoshoot begins…

Firmly planted on the foundation! The rock! 💚🙂‍↕️🇲🇸

——

CUT TO:

Sted poses in front of the camera while Frank remains behind the lens, capturing the moment.

STED: Mi ready, man. Tell me where you want me!

FRANK: Hold that pose…

📸👌🏿

The pictures speak for themselves.

35 it is, at HOME! All glory be to God. 🇲🇸🎂

All I wanted this year was to wake up at home as I haven't spent a birthday home in 17 years. I'm grateful I was able to.

Nothing extremely profound to say but, THANK YOU LORD for all you've done for me. 🙏🏿💯🥳🎈
