A fresh take on a traditional game!

Designed exclusively for @onesharq , this custom Dama board reimagines a familiar tradition as part of the guest experience.

Our goal was to create something that felt familiar, but a little more special. We carefully selected materials, spent time refining the craftsmanship, and added playful details throughout to turn a traditional game into something that’s enjoyable to both display and play.

If you’re visiting One Sharq, you’ll find it in the lobby. Take a seat, and make yourself at home. ♟️🎲

🎲♟️ taken in Sharq, Kuwait by @steediu_plus

We’re excited to launch our first booth/kiosk design for @augustpark.me ! 🌟🔩

They approached us with the challenge of creating a mobile accessory customization station that could travel easily, store neatly, and work well in malls and public spaces.

The result is a compact cabinet that opens up into a complete setup, with embedded tool racks, storage units, display windows, configurable wall panels, and work surfaces all built into one system.

A little kiosk with a lot of tricks 🤸🏻 🏋️We had a lot of fun bringing this one to life!

We recently had the pleasure of touring @steediu_plus’s studio in the heart of Kuwait City, and we’re excited to share some of the work they showed us.

As one of Kuwait’s few product design studios, Steediu+’s work spans everything from sandblasted metal objects to piped clay pots and much more. We got to meet the small team behind these designs and hear the story of Steediu+ from Barrak Darweesh, who brought the team together to launch @steediu_’s product design extension a little over a year ago. While every project is different, what stood out to us was how much of the design work, and even some of the manufacturing, takes place right here in Kuwait.

Each object and commissioned project had its own story, intentions, and challenges. It was genuinely fascinating to hear about the process behind each one, but beyond that, the environment they’re created in is something really special. There’s a spirit of experimentation that runs through the studio, driven by a young team constantly testing, refining, and creating. Spending time with them highlighted how rare it is to see the process behind the final object, and how much thought, craftsmanship, and iteration can be hidden within something that on the surface seems deceptively simple. by @steediu_plus
