Lizard king 7C/V9

Fell in love with this shit all over again today. Amazing line and the first of the grade for me outdoors so it meant a lot to me.

Flick of the wrist 7c+/v10

All the board sessions and hot cross buns have paid off. First of the grade for me and it was a real mental battle.

None of the moves felt reliable in isolation let alone in links and I lost more and more confidence as the session went on. Almost called the session short multiple times but I’m glad I stuck it out.

A rare power scream 🤔 didn’t even know I could do those but that probably speaks volumes of the mental battle I was going through on this boulder.

L’Etrave 6a/v3

6 years climbing outside and I finally went to font. Those years of climbing didn’t mean much here though. Felt like a complete beginner 😂 In recent years it’s felt like most challenges and projects I found needed me to just train more, but there’s a whole forest full of boulders here that need a different kind of commitment, that need me to get better and not just stronger. Almost feels like I’ve just found climbing again for the first time :)

Nazguls traverse 7c/v9

Third of the grade in the last 30 days! I’ve noticed a change in me this past month and it feels like Ive found a higher gear.

I want to try harder things while I feel good. If anyone’s climbing anywhere outside over the next month please keep me in your thoughts.
