I have multiple people in my life who have struggled with cancer. This month is breast cancer awareness month. I am humbled by the strength that I have seen in some of my dearest friends. I love you all. You truly mean the world to me. My mother is one of the strongest women I have ever met. She had a quick scare and then she kicked it and is still pushing forward. People always say that they are taking it one day at a time. Well we couldn’t handle two at a time anyway! This book is one of my favorites. It keeps me on track and in line. My one rule is that I have to load it up the night before. The concept of time has been really getting in my head recently. Not knowing how much we have. Not feeling that I am doing enough with the time that I have. So today, I’ve decided to go after a goal that has been following me like a shadow. It’s music related, but not dealing with my voice. It’s near me almost at all times when I am home. It also has caused me some slight discomfort, just because I have not spent enough time with it. I’ll let you figure it out. This image says it all. As I looked out from the stage, I saw all of the things that make me feel alive. Happy people filled with love and soothed by the music. I cannot express how much I love to see people transformed by music and atmosphere. From the perspective of a musician, we get to see so many things. I constantly study how people move into a euphoric state when the music hits their soul. I will frame this photo and put it on the wall in my new home as soon as I move in. I have never taken a photo that has conveyed the emotions that I am feeling from the stage, so accurately in my life. I am so grateful to be a vocalist. My craft feeds me every day.
