Three years ago today I finally worked up the courage to ask you about the claw marks on your back. Your answer didn’t make sense then. It makes sense now. taken in Austin, Texas by @steelskyblue

Does it sometimes feel like time has been going by so fast since 2019? I keep trying to slow things down but it just feels like it’s happening all so fast.

Sometimes silence is the only language one can speak.

I am making lots of progress on all areas. Refocused, recentered, noise reduced, head down, it’s work time. 207 pounds this week slowly coming down in weight.

I cut down on work session length, carved out some cardio time each workout. Split huge workouts into two for more effective recovery. Life is good. taken in Los Campeones Gym Austin South by @steelskyblue

I feel that in the last couple of months, I have been given every kind of gift one’s heart can desire. It is truly humbling to be still here, still doing the things I love, still having my freedom to change things up, set my own schedule, be my own man and be surrounded by a partner and friends who get me, who are willing to take the ride with me, who support me, love me and aren’t afraid to show up. I can thank each one of you like I would if I were giving an Oscar acceptance speech but I know you know who you are.♾️❤️

“I do forgive thy robb’ry, gentle thief,
Although thou steal thee all my poverty;
And yet love knows it is a greater grief
To bear love’s wrong than hate’s known injury.
Lascivious grace, in whom all ill well shows,
Kill me with spites, yet we must not be foes.”

I appreciate the sort of discipline that makes it possible for someone to not look at my social media for five years. I really do. I am like that; I recognize those unsung skills folks have. taken in Houston, Texas by @steelskyblue
