Up next in our 10th anniversary series, a return that feels like a first meeting.

Andrew James Gustav was among our earliest international bookings, part of the foundation that pointed us toward everything these years would become. Then came a long hiatus of eight or nine years. We stayed in touch through the quiet stretch, a message here, a word there, holding a place for him should he ever feel ready to play again. That day has come, and we are ready to receive him.

Much has changed for all of us since his last night with us. We have grown artistically and personally, and so has he. There is a rare satisfaction in meeting someone again on the far side of that growth, recognizing the person you knew while discovering who they have become.

In tandem with our trusted collaborators @steep_______ , we round out the night with Zella, who joins our resident Frank Paper in support.

After two years…Wendy returns!

The first time was quite special, let’s see what magic we can create this time.

For those who have yet to be introduced — the Parisian DJ has built a reputation for her distinctive taste in 90’s house and techno. Her selections drift between the deep, psychedelic, rave-inspired and acid-tinged edges of 90’s dance music. Leaving no stone unturned, she is as committed as it gets to discovering and dusting off long forgotten records. But beyond her deep digging skills, she plays with an infectious energy, inviting listeners in and transporting them back to those initial raves.

Gently easing us into the night with her smooth, classy style is our beloved resident, Kaierchen.

Join us for a hazy warehouse session complemented by Sound Logic’s hand built system that breathes life into the finest of details in the music.

Introducing Pierro!

The Brussels-based DJ and co-founder of PanaVision Records alongside Brassac and Akaj, brings an eclectic, uninhibited vision to dance music. Rather than adhering to genre boundaries or linear progressions, Pierro weaves a wide range of sounds taking listeners on immersive trips through his worlds.

His sets are rooted in two constant threads: emotional depth and raw intensity. He captivates dancers by moving seamlessly between a highly physical body-driven, energy and nuanced cerebral moments. Behind the booth, he radiates an animalistic energy, reflecting the essence of his character.

We are thrilled to welcome this special selector for an all night long set this Saturday. Join us for what is sure to be one our standout parties this year!

Tickets are in our bio and on our RA, secure yours soon as the second release has almost sold out! by @steep_______

Saturday, August 8th, Steep welcomes one of our most anticipated guests of the year, Brussels-based artist Pierro!

Inside a hazy warehouse, Pierro will soundtrack the party from the first record to the last. For us, an all-night-long set is the ultimate format—the best way an artist can properly express themself and tell a complete story.

And Pierro is an ideal selector for this kind of narrative. He is a unique digger with eclectic taste encompassing house, techno, acid, trance, new beat, synth-pop, and much more, and he holds a deep appreciation for the joy of hearing various styles in one set. It takes a special ability to connect these different sounds elegantly, and we’re quite excited for him to have the opportunity to stretch out comfortably and showcase his singular taste in dance music.

We’ve been working all year to bring Pierro over, and we are finally one month away. Come early, settle into the fog and Pierro’s sounds, and get ready to lock in for a full night of dancing!

Early bird tickets are in our bio and on RA 💥

Steep and Sojourn come together to welcome back one of our favorite artists, Moaad BKR!

Driven by years of musical research, Moaad possesses the rare ability to intuit a dance floor’s needs and translate them into a story. His poetic approach to dance music and deep sense of artistry have quietly made him a beloved figure for those in the know all over the world.

Moaad joined Steep for our anniversary party last year and swept us away, taking us on a beautiful, emotional journey. His range of records, from the nasty to the delicate, touched us deeply and left us wanting more.

For this edition, we are thrilled to team up with Sojourn and highlight their founder, Chaouki Alba. Chaouki’s commitment to raising the bar for what is possible here is inspiring. A dedicated selector with a sharp ear for deep grooves and interesting percussion, we’re eager to hear him set the tone for the night.

Join us in a foggy warehouse and get lost in the music of these two artists!

Friday’s artists!

Starting the night off — Rohan will play a live set fusing guitar and bass instrumentation with drum machines, acid synths, and effects pedals. His sets showcase his lifelong devotion to music, each one unique and improvised to suit the nature of the party.

Afterwards the turntables are on and Katya C will take over. Classically trained and drawing on her rich musical background, Katya weaves together many shades of house and techno— be it lush, deep, moody, driving. She brings both a thoughtfulness and intuition built from years of dance floor experience around the world.

Closing the evening out is vyoo resident, Frank Paper. From psychedelic chuggers to acid bombs, they always carefully pack their bag for the occasion. Not just a dedicated digger but an emotive storyteller too, they elicit all sorts of feelings through their records and bring dance floors together.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Friday is shaping up to be a great night! Along side these artists we will also have a vinyl pop-up to dig, a raffle with some fun surprises, an artist vending and displaying their work, and some food (tba soon) for the early party goers!
We highly encourage folks to come out early for this one! Tix are in our bio and on RA!
All ticket sales and raffle proceeds will go directly to the East Boston chapter of Movimiento Cosecha!
Hope to see you on the dance floor Friday! by @steep_______
Steep returns to a private tea house loft for a night centered around music, dancing and deeper listening.
For those that made it to our first edition at this beautiful space, you know how special it is to be dancing as the sun creeps through the windows in the morning.
For this one we are excited to welcome on local favorite and Spin the Bottle co-founder, Patchwork. She shares our love for the sounds of the 80’s and 90’s and is a vibrant presence in nightlife here. We’re thrilled to have her set the tone for the evening and hear her disco, house and electro selections!
Sets from Rohan (LIVE) and Zella will follow and a special ~5 hour closing from Cutty.
Limited capacity — email steepbookings@gmail.com to RSVP
Jorge Escribano came onto our radar last year after hearing from friends in Montreal and Detroit about the two exceptional sets he played there. Since then we have dove into his catalogue of mixes and been dying to have him ourselves. The day is almost here! Let us share a little more about him…
From Córdoba, Spain, Jorge Escribano has developed a keen sensitivity to sound. His sets are patient and considered, built around flow and continuity rather than peaks — drawing on a broad palette of sounds while maintaining a clear sense of direction.
Escribano began organising events and developing his sound locally before moving to London in 2014. Time spent in Berlin followed, and he is now based in Barcelona, where he is active across both the local scene and international circuit.
Alongside his DJ work, Jorge runs FLUYO, a label focused on forward-thinking electronic music and overlooked producers, reflecting the same care and intent found in his selections.
We are thrilled to have Jorge at the helm of our two year party this Saturday!
