Us as husband and wife 🤍🌿

06.26.2022. The best day ever. I wish I could go back to this day. Such a privilege to have had such a beautiful wedding surrounded by everyone we love and care about. Still so excited that this guy agreed to marry me, lol. Happy birthday, Will ❤️

I don’t think you realize how much of an impact you have on the people around you, especially me. You’ve helped me find my way out of some really dark places and have supported me in becoming the person I’ve wanted to be. There’s a light in you that people are drawn to, and I see it in the way you care, love, and get excited about life. you detailed oriented f*ck 😘 I love how we get each other. our humor. the music we enjoy. our opinions. the late nights and talking about life and being raw. we’ve clicked from the start and I feel like i’ve met you in a past life sometimes. when I first met you it felt like I knew you for years… youre my best friend. people and myself included are so lucky to have you in our lives.

I was so shocked when I received this award…they called my name—“me?? I said, I literally froze 😂
“Yes, you.”

I’m proud, but more than anything I choose kindness and understanding, at work and outside of it. It’s hard out here. And being in the hospital is scary, for anyone. Some days it’s hard for me too (yes, I have absolutely crashed out in the supply room 💅🥲).

But being part of the nursing staff on the inpatient rehab unit comes so naturally to me. Bedside nursing kicks my ass, but it feels like home. I’m grateful to be growing into my role as a nursing student and future nurse.
