In a world where @therealsambora was the guitarist for Belinda Carlisle! Every time I hear this song I always want to reference this popular @bonjovi track, can you name the track the solo is taken from? 😉

Gear Used:
@neuraldsp Quad Cortex
@suhrcustom Classic Pro

$Being a musician on a cruise ship isn’t just about playing your instrument, performing and having fun on stage leads to the audience having more fun watching you! $Gimme Gimme Gimme - @abba performed on P&O Arcadia. We added a guitar solo to the instrumental section of the song and threw in a little mashup 😉 @fractalaudiosystems @g66eu @suhrcustom #abba #guitarcover #guitarist #livemusic #guitarsolo by @stefan_coates$

$Message In A Bottle - @thepolicebandofficial on board P&O Arcadia. 🛳️ On my @fractalaudiosystems FM9 Cruise Ship preset, I have a custom switch set to basically add 30%(ish) reverb mix and duration to any reverb set on any of my scenes, I tend to use this switch if I want to fill out the sound more or make any song more atmospheric! I feel like this really shines in moments like the second half of this clip! @suhrcustom @g66eu @stewart_copeland @andysummers_official @theofficialsting #thepolice #cruiseship #cruiseshipmusician #guitarist #guitarcover by @stefan_coates$

Super happy with how this shot turned out. First time shooting a self portrait and as I didn’t have a picture with my new @martinguitar 000-28 I thought it’d be a great excuse to include it!

This photo was shot with just one Godox V1 light above me, inspired by @photobergllc which was previously inspired by @claudiodellosa.it

Shot with my Sony 35mm 1.4 GM and @sonyalpha A7iv.

$Tonight my @martinguitar 000-28 is having its debut show on a cruise ship! I don’t typically take an acoustic on my cruise contracts with me as it’s not a requirement for the job, but this guitar is just too nice to leave at home and not use 😍. As always, my @fractalaudiosystems FM9 is handling all things Effects / Impulse Responses - I couldn’t think of a better combination! @g66eu @elixir_strings @martinguitar_uk #martinguitar #martinguitars #fractalaudiosystems #acousticguitar #acoustic by @stefan_coates$

Rock Bottom - @stevenwilsonhq
This solo was played by @niko.tsonev and is one of my favourite solos on any of Steven Wilson’s albums!

$I Won’t Hold You Back - @totothemselves Hearing @stevelukatherofficial play this solo for the first time was such an inspiring moment for me, showing how expressive a guitar solo could be! @fractalaudiosystems FM9, and @suhrcustom Classic S for the tone! @g66eu #guitarcover #guitarsolo #guitarist #toto #stevelukather by @stefan_coates$

Above the Clouds of Pompeii by @bearsdenmusic has one of my favourite intros, one that inspired learning to fingerpick in the early days! This is a fitting start for what will be a series of acoustic covers featuring some of my favourite acoustic guitar parts of all time!

Do you have a favourite acoustic part/intro? Let me know in the comments! 👇💙

My @martinguitar 000-28 was recorded plugged directly into my interface. Equipped with an @lrbaggsofficial Anthem, and @elixir_strings Phosphor Bronze 12-53 strings.
