Very happy to have competed at my first international, hopefully there’ll be many more to come! Totalled 299kg to come 3rd in B group and 13th overall. I’m happy with my performance, little annoyed at missing the 2nd jerk, but that just gives me something to work on. As far as I know I have qualified for the European juniors in Albania, later this year! taken in Crete, Greece. by @stefanotheweightlifter

VIRUS Weightlifting Series 2:
Snatch: 130, 137x, 137x
Clean & jerk: 170x, 170, 180x
Felt pretty strong at this competition so it’s unfortunate the numbers I made weren’t as reflective of this, I was able to snag a few medals though. Overall I enjoyed myself so that’s good.

Shoutout to @wolfe_strength and @houston.weightlifting.academy for being the places I trained at during my time in Houston, I’ve now relocated but I’ll be back sometime in the future.

Finally, thanks to @mcauser82 for all the programming! taken in Fort Worth Convention Center by @stefanotheweightlifter

Satisfactory performance yesterday earning the bronze medal at the British championships. 5/6 made: 130, 135, 140x & 165, 172, 178 so a 313 total at 94.
I’m hoping to build on this performance next month at the US U25 Nationals, so keep watching 👀

180 snatch balance!

I did not expect to hit this, so it deserves a post. Some of the past month’s best lifts have also been included since I post so infrequently. 🙈

Also for those that haven’t been keeping up with my stories, I am living in the US 🇺🇸 but that doesn’t mean I won’t compete at the British 🇬🇧 Championships, so see y’all there ✌️ taken in Wolfe Strength by @stefanotheweightlifter

✨ My heart is still overflowing from yesterday.

My son graduated. And what a moment it was.

I remember it like it was yesterday… when we used to ask him what he wanted to be when he grew up, and he’d answer, with total conviction:
– Bob the Builder! 🛠️😂
Well… Bob, mission accomplished: he will be building things — only now it’s on a whole new level, with wings, turbines, and a load of maths I still pretend to understand.

It took years of hard work but yesterday, he crossed the finish line with a spark in his eyes and a future wide open ahead.

My love, this is just the beginning. You’re already soaring. Go for it — and always remember where you came from. 🌟

With all the pride and love in the world,
Your mum ♥️
