Hill House, Katrin Terstegen (2025)

Tucked away in Pasadena, The Hills House is one of the city’s oldest surviving homes, originally built in the 1890s. Today, it serves as a living space for contemporary art, music, and creative exchange under the stewardship of Stefan Simchowitz.

Known for his commitment to discovering and championing emerging contemporary artists, Stefan reimagined the historic farmhouse into an evolving gallery, artist residency, and cultural gathering place. His vision was to create a home where artists, musicians, collectors, and the local community could come together through exhibitions, performances, and conversation while honoring the building’s history.

Thank you, Stefan, for welcoming us into The Hills House and sharing your story.
