Yesterday (March 26), after talking about it for a while, our schedules finally aligned…
and it turned into one of those days you don’t plan, but somehow remember.

Met up with Erika — first time sharing something outside of our kickboxing studio.
She was already out camping near Jordan River, living her van life rhythm, dog-sitting Bo…
and it felt like the perfect moment to join her for a little adventure.

We headed to Mystic Beach — one of my favorite places.
Rain on the way in…
and right as we came out of the forest — the sun showed up.

Waterfalls. A rainbow.
Perfect timing, like it was waiting for us.

Synchronicities were everywhere that day…
the kind I don’t question, I just notice.

And what made it even more special —
we were both just there.
Not in the past, not in what’s next… just present.

That’s a rare quality.
And it’s what allows me to actually pause and take in the magic around me.

There’s something about these kinds of days…
no pressure, no expectations — just being in it.

It had been a while since I gave myself that.
And this is exactly why I live here.
I just need more of these… a lot more.

Grateful for a new connection, fresh air, and moments that don’t need to be anything more than what they are—La Vie Est Belle 🤍

Such a positive, magnificent day ✨

Maybe in the near future, we gather a few like-minded from our SKILLZ community…
go for a hike, bring a picnic, stay a little longer around a fire, and just move and enjoy the outdoors together.

There’s a moment happening right now that you don’t see… but you can feel it if you slow down.

March 20th marks a turning point — not just on a calendar, but in the rhythm of the Earth itself. It’s the day when light and darkness meet in balance, when neither is taking more space than the other. Just for a moment, everything is equal.

And from that balance… things begin to move again.

You can feel it in a subtle way. I know I can. The days don’t just get longer — they start to open. The air shifts. The heaviness of winter loosens its grip. There’s a quiet return of energy, like something in the background of life is coming back online.

We’re not meant to be in full motion all year long. Winter has its purpose — slowing down, going inward, reflecting, and integrating. And whether we realize it or not, something has been reshaping within us during that time.

Now, as the light returns, that inner work begins to take form.
It’s not just about starting over — it’s about moving forward as the version of you that has already evolved.

But this… this is the other side of that cycle.

This is where things begin again.

Across different cultures and times, this moment has always been recognized as a true beginning — from the Persian celebration of Nowruz, carried through thousands of years, to ancient Earth-based traditions, including the Indigenous peoples of the land I live on, who have long honored these seasonal shifts as sacred points of renewal and balance.

It’s simple, really.

The Earth is shifting forward.
And we’re part of that same movement.

So if you’ve been feeling like something is about to start,
like you’re ready to move, create, or reset…

you’re not imagining it.

This is your moment to begin again.

Golden light, my dogs, music, and a reminder to stay true to our own path.

Lately I’ve been reflecting a lot on what it means to stop looking to the crowd for direction. I’ve realized that when I do that, I slowly drift away from myself.

More and more, I’m learning to be the captain of my own vessel — navigating life with intention and listening to that quiet inner compass that always seems to know the way.

Part of that journey for me has been learning to create healthy boundaries. Not walls that separate me from the world, but sacred lines that protect my energy so I can truly thrive — physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

And something beautiful has been unfolding as I practice that. The more I come back into alignment with who I really am, the more I notice a quiet joy naturally radiating outward.

It’s subtle, but it changes how I move through the world and how I connect with the people around me.

It reminds me that a big heart filled with love and joy might actually be one of the most powerful things we can offer this world.

Valentine’s Day done the wild way.

Forest trails, salty air, and a hidden cove in East Sooke Park.

4.5 hours hiking the coast — three dogs, two unstoppable little explorers, hearts wide open.

Ryker and Lou walked that whole trail like tiny warriors. I was in awe.

Walter, my beloved, is where he needs to be — supporting his daughter Jade.
Even though he wasn’t with us, he was in my heart all day.

Love isn’t just roses.
Sometimes it’s mud on our boots, wind in our hair, and children laughing by the sea.

Thank you, Tyler and Madison, for inviting me to share this day with you.
It meant so much 🤍

My mom visiting for the holidays 🤍
Beautiful memories showing up on my phone today.
Last Christmas, we cooked a full holiday meal in my little RV camper, parked on the “Farmaly” — a place where farm meets family.
It was a peaceful, generous and welcoming community.
Feeling grateful I got to live there for a year… and even more thankful for moments like these. 🎄✨
