That’s going to leave a mark! November was a tough month for me and my family. What started as a random blood infection that landed me in the hospital at the end of October turn into an OPEN HEART surgery and Aortic Valve replacement in November. 28 days in the hospital and 25lbs later we made it through the battle of my life. I am forever grateful for my 8 month pregnant wife, Ashley and all the days and nights she spent by my side. I’m grateful for all the friends and family that reached out to support me. I am extremely grateful for all the Doctors, Nurses and healthcare workers that keep us healthy and alive. The week before I entered the hospital I was doing Jiu Jitsu and surfing the wave pool in PS with no idea any of this was going to happen…. how quickly life can change. I’m just happy that I’ll be able to experience baby girl born at the end of December and be here for my family.
