🚨NEWS!🚨

When I’d be laying in bed at uni struggling for motivation to get to lectures, I’d listen to hours and hours of @bbc5live. I loved how shows would hop from world events and politics to cinema and silliness. I learnt and I laughed. I got cross. I nodded in agreement and got teary at times when guests had something heartwarming to share. What a place to work I thought.

Well here we are, what feels like 10 minutes later (it’s actually a lot longer) and I’m being entrusted with a little slice of the actual @bbc5live Breakfast Show. What a joy, what a privilege.

I’ve been lucky enough to bounce around the station for a while now, getting to know the brilliant producers and technical teams - so I know I’m in good hands 🙏🏻

Excited to be spending my mornings with @jeanettekwakye and @missrimaahmed.

We’ll speak to you soon. Best get a new alarm 😬

📻😎❤️

This is big.

Someone's been in the archives and found ACTUAL evidence of the Aber Pier One Pound Massacre.

Your move doubters.

Nearly two years ago we took Press X to Continue independent and here we are still laughing, chatting about games and doing it Live 😎👾

What a joyous afternoon being part of the @cheerfulearfulpodfest and spending some time with some of the Continue Clubbers / ExY Beasts (delete as appropriate).

Great to have the brilliant @marcusbronzy with us.

Shout out to my PX partner in crime @inelious and the team that make it all happen - who had steam coming out of their ears getting it all prepped and ready @owenseabrook & @davidmooney 🙏🏻😎

Please see slide 4 for some lush work from our Patreon Jonny, slide 7 for my proudest achievement and slide 8 for a wholesome community moment.

“I want to be able to look back and say I’ve done everything I’ve wanted to do.”

After being left paralysed at 18, Esmée Gummer learned to walk again. Now she’s ran 5,000 kilometres across 77 UK cities in 99 days, bringing together more than 6,600 runners.

Speaking to BBC Radio 5 Live, she explains the power of movement, community and saying yes to life. 🏃‍♀️ by @steffanpowell

Did you even climb it if you don’t post the photo on here? I know Stephen would have loved to give me stick for it.
