Officially invited to compete at the 2026 ADCC World Championships in the -99kg division.

Grateful for the opportunity to represent the United States and compete against the best in the world in Poland this September.

Thankful for the experience and looking forward to the next one.

Thank you to my team at @kingsway_hq and a special thank you to @danaherjohn and @gordonlovesjiujitsu for investing in me from day one. Also, a big thank you to @jiujitsugiant for making the transition to Austin easy and being a brother.

I was already planning to move to Austin, but getting the ADCC invite pushed me to make it happen sooner. It’s been the best decision I could’ve made for myself, both personally and professionally.

Very excited to see where I’ll be physically and technically in the coming months. Stay tuned.

🇺🇸 Steffen Banta joins the -99 kg lineup for the ADCC World Championship 2026 🔥

After two outstanding runs at the ADCC North American Trials, the American is officially heading to Kraków, where he will test himself against the very best in one of the toughest divisions of the tournament.

🥇 IBJJF World Champion (Brown Belt Adult)
🥇🥇 IBJJF World No-Gi Double Gold Champion (Brown Belt Adult)
🥇🥇 IBJJF Pan & Pan No-Gi Champion (Brown Belt Adult)

Banta’s rise through the ranks has been impossible to ignore. His dominant brown belt campaign saw him reach the #1 spot in the IBJJF adult male brown belt no-gi rankings.

He also came incredibly close to qualifying for ADCC 2026 on his own, reaching the -99 kg final at both North American Trials and proving twice that he belongs among the division’s elite.
