Yesterdays evening float & ride session was fun.

Yesterday it was windy. 3.5 and the new 72l board with quite a different shape to my old almost 3.5 year old 72l under my feet. This time I have to adapt my sailing, as I feel like an amateur on a race horse 🦄
It’s always good to step out of the comfort zone, only this will result in getting better! I‘m keen on mastering this beauty!

Getting out the most fun in light easterly breezes at the Baltic Sea.
Even if there is almost no wind, the bumps are right there with wind from the east at our homespot in the north of Germany. Let’s take the @vayu.world 5.0 PYRO for going upwind and then enjoy the endless glide downwind. 🫶 For me, this feeling comes the closest to surfing when there is no wave around. Or maybe an empty powder slope run back in the days…. Right now I enjoy the feeling of riding barefoot and the moment when you take the Parawing down and everything gets amazingly quiet. Just the rolling Baltic Sea below✨

Summer dips….
Finally I could ditch the hoodie…. After a pretty cold start into July the weekend brought warm weather, good swell for surfing and afternoon wind for sailing. Sun for days🫶🍄‍🟫❤️

~ goodbye to the island~
Not geographically, but in my thoughts. A weekend in Thy is always special and somehow and island of extraordinary good fun, special light, good vibes and all in all it’s a hide away from the daily buzz and worth the drive. This first weekend in July we experienced a good stretch of wind and waves. Now back to summer…
