I want to start by giving my sincere thanks to Archbishop Carroll for everything it has done for me. Carroll has been more than just a school it’s been a family that welcomed me, pushed me, and helped me grow into the student-athlete I am today. The lessons I’ve learned, the memories I’ve made, and the bonds I’ve built with my teammates and coaches will always stay with me. Carroll gave me a strong foundation and showed me what it means to work hard, stay disciplined, and believe in myself, and for that I’ll always be grateful.After careful thought and prayer, I’ve decided to continue the next chapter of my journey at St. James. This was not an easy decision, but I believe St. James is the best place for me to keep developing as both a student and an athlete. I know it will challenge me in new ways, on the track, in the classroom, and in life, and I’m excited to take those steps forward. This decision is not about leaving Carroll behind, but about building on everything I’ve gained there and striving toward my future goals. I will forever carry Carroll with me, and I’m looking forward to representing St. James with the same dedication, gratitude, and love for the sport that has brought me this far. by @steffon_lyon
