Thank you to my big sis Dominique @mamadeesdiary and two nieces Nylah and Neriyah for the magic you’ve brought into my photographs.

Some days I really think to myself, what should I even photograph? But I know if l look at my family I’ll always find magic! Beyond blessed!

Thank you to everyone at @bjp1854 for helping me share my work with the world. I feel very proud to have my work published in Portrait of Britain, it’s a unique feeling to see my work officially printed a book. It’s definitely inspiring and motivation to me for creating more.

Thank you everyone for coming to the opening show of Greys in Between.

I wanna thank Mino @loveoutcast for his support in putting this show together, it’s really been a special moment for me to share our work at The Camera Club.

Being in the darkroom, putting my energy into crafting these prints has felt really rewarding when seeing the final work on the wall and sharing with my friends and family.

Join us for the open view of “Greys in Between” on 20th January 7pm.

This is a photography exhibition by myself and Mino @loveoutcast, showcasing new darkroom prints at The Camera Club @cameraclubuk in Kennington.

I’m very grateful to have this photograph of my big sis’ Dominique and niece Nylah shortlisted for @bjp1854’s Portrait of Britain Vol. 8. This was photo was taken this summer whilst my sister was still pregnant with my second baby niece Neriyah. It brings me a lot of joy to document special moments like this of my family.

After being shortlisted I’m honoured to have one of my photos selected as a winner for @bjp1854’s Portrait of Britain Vol. 6. It is now published by @bluecoatpress in a book and being exhibited across the country on @jcdecaux_uk screens and billboards until February 4th.

This photo was taken of my niece Nylah @mamadeesdiary and @herbslife7. I try to make an effort to bring my camera everywhere with me just in case I see something. We were together in Asda and I noticed this bond between my niece and her father and I took three photographs.

Receiving this award made me reflect on how long I’ve been doing this and why I started in the first place. I remember watching @john_free_photography’s YouTube videos back in 2013 and going to one of his talks when he came to London. Watching back now over 10 years later it gave me a flashback to how much I was inspired, his passion was so infectious and it resonated a lot with me. Thank you @john_free_photography.

I’m grateful for this award because it is a signal that my work has connected with others. I want to thank all my friends and family for the continuous support and inspiration. taken in London, Unιted Kingdom by @stefon.grant
