Yesterday I spent the morning taking a plein air art class with @julieskoda 🎨 It was wonderful to learn from her and meet fellow artists! I'm used to mostly going out with my little sketchbook, but I'm inspired to take my easel out more often (and maybe even pastels)!Today I put some finishing touches on my painting. I painted on the paddleboard yesterday! You might have already seen my selfie in my stories, but here's a better look at the painting itself. I paddled along the shoreline until I found a beachy scene I wanted to paint, dropped my little anchor, got out my smallest plein air setup, and did a quick sketch! And yes, I got a little seasick 😅 The water wasn't as smooth as it looks in the photo! But all I had to do was look out at the horizon and I'd feel better. It was definitely a fun experience and I hope I can do it on my next trip out on the water! 🌊 by @stefscrafty
