And now, I shall tell you Act II.

Act II: My Dearest Friend Ana @anaizquierdo1

This act is especially emotional for me.

Ana, you are not just a friend to me; you are family.

You are the sister that life gave me.

You have stood beside me during the most important moments of my life, through the happiest days and through the difficult ones, when a single look from you was enough to remind me that I was never alone.

If today I understand the true meaning of friendship, it is because you taught me through your example.

You showed me that friendship is not measured by time, but by loyalty, generosity, and the ability to be present when someone needs you most.

I deeply admire your kindness, your strength, your integrity, and the way you care for the people you love.

You have an enormous heart and a nobility that is increasingly rare to find.

You are one of those people who make life better simply because you exist.

And I thank God for the day He placed you in my path.

I love you with all my heart, and I could not be happier to see you beginning this new chapter alongside the person you love @mr_paxito and a love you too brother. I know my girl is in the best hands

If anyone deserves a love story like this, it is you.

I structured my speech in three acts, like a Shakespearean play. Now I’d like to share Act III with you.

Act III – “Marriage”

Santiago and Ana, my wish for you as a couple is actually very simple to say, but it takes a lifetime to learn:

May you always choose each other.

Because a marriage is not built in a single day, no matter how beautiful this day may be.

A marriage is built in ordinary days, in joyful days, and in difficult ones.

It is built in conversations, in small gestures, in sacrifices, in shared dreams, and in the constant decision to keep walking through life together.

There will be moments when everything flows effortlessly, and others when life puts you to the test.

There will be days of celebration and days of uncertainty.

But what matters is remembering that you are never against each other.

You are together against any problem that comes your way.

I hope you never stop admiring one another.

Because personally, I believe admiration is what makes two people continue choosing each other again and again as the years go by.

I wish you a family filled with love, laughter around the table, and memories that one day you will tell your children about.

And of course, I also hope for some beautiful nieces and nephews that I will happily spoil.

And now I will finish.

I would like to end with a poem by one of Uruguay’s greatest writers, Mario Benedetti, a choice that feels especially meaningful because of my own Uruguayan roots:

“With you, I learned that love wasn’t what I once imagined it to be.
Because the greatest love stories are not the ones we dream about, but the ones we live.
Marriage is falling in love with the same person, over and over again, throughout a lifetime”

So let us raise our glasses to Ana and Santi.

To love.

To friendship.

To family.
