a little reminder that you’re allowed to change your mind. you’re allowed to want something different than you did a year ago. you’re allowed to start over, try something new, and have absolutely no idea what you’re doing.

i think sometimes we get so caught up in becoming the person we thought we were supposed to be that we forget we can literally just… live.

not every experience needs to be productive. not every decision needs to make sense to everyone else. and not every season of life needs to have some big, beautiful purpose.

sometimes you just need a little sunshine, a silly little drink, and something to look forward to.

anyways, consider this your permission slip to romanticize the life you have while figuring out the life you want. 🩷

What if the thing stealing your peace isn’t what’s happening in your life, but what you’re afraid MIGHT happen?

I’ve spent so much of my life confusing worrying with being responsible. Like somehow, if I thought through every possible worst-case scenario, I’d be more prepared for what MIGHT happen.

But I’m learning that you can care deeply about your future without sacrificing your present for it.

And the science behind worrying makes this even crazier. Our brains can trigger real stress responses over situations that haven’t even happened yet.

So lately, I’ve been trying to remind myself that not every thought deserves my attention. Not every fear is a prediction. And not every problem needs to be solved today.

Life is going to happen whether I spend today worrying about it or not. And I’d really hate to look back and realize I missed the good parts because I was so busy preparing for doomsday. Lol.

You don’t have to rehearse suffering to prove you’re capable of surviving it.

A little reminder for myself and anyone else who needs it. 💌

I don’t really know how to put two years into one caption.

Two years ago, this was just an old school bus and a dream I couldn’t stop thinking about.

Now it’s early mornings, coffee stains, hundreds of events, thousands of drinks, a team that feels like family, and the coolest community I could’ve ever asked for.

There have been days I questioned everything. Days the bus broke down. Days I was exhausted. Days I wondered if this was going to work.

But there have also been days where I get to look around and think...

”This is actually my life.”

I never imagined this little coffee bus would become what it has.

Every person who’s stopped by our window, every event that’s trusted us, every comment, share, recommendation, and kind word has helped build Zenith into what it is today.

I don’t take a single bit of it for granted.

Year two taught me more than I could’ve ever imagined.

Year three?

We’re dreaming even bigger.

Thank you for being here. Thank you for believing in us. And thank you for proving that sometimes the craziest ideas are worth chasing.

The day I got to marry my best friend.

Today marks one month of being Mrs. Birchfield. One month of pure peace, one month of looking back on a day full of joy, laughter, and our favorite people.

Not only did we have the most amazing dance party in the rain, but we also got married at the most magical little blueberry farm. Barefoot the entire day and with humidity so strong my hair wouldn’t stay curled, I wouldn’t change a single moment. We are so thankful for every person who made our wedding beyond special.

@kym.rodda — the wedding planning helper extraordinaire. My best friend.

@ben_rodda the most wonderful a listener and supporter.

Johnny and Melissa thank you for welcoming me into the family. My built-in florist!

@savy.rodda — my wedding dress designer. Yep, you read that correctly. Savy brought my vision to life and sewed my wedding dress. It was the most beautiful dress a girl could ask for.

@sydneyacevedomedia — my wonderful photographer, who also happens to be on the Zenith team. Not only did she capture my vision perfectly, but she was such a joy to be around all day.

@anni.j.photography — our second shooter! Fowler and I have done lots of shoots with Annika, and we knew we had to have her there on our special day.

@alberrrrro — to know him is to love him. Our wonderful videographer. We have the sweetest little highlight video forever, plus a longer film that captured every special moment of the day. @trerut3

@eddieyeti — my honorary uncle who officiated our wedding. It was incredibly personal and so special. His entire family was one of the highlights of the day. Love you, Pattersons.

it’s my HUSBANDS birthday!!!!!!! peep the wedding sneak peeks 😚

I think his friends will agree with me when I say that Fowler is everyone’s biggest supporter. I feel so beyond lucky to live my life with someone who loves people around him so well. Fowler has saved more zenith events and generator/bus issues than I can count. So if you’ve ever thought about starting a coffee business just make sure you have a Fowler. HA but for real…

2 years ago I quit my job
and dropped out of college
to pursue something bigger
and honestly… a lot scarier

I had no plan
just a feeling there was a better way to do coffee

Some days I made $12
some days everything went wrong

And somehow it still became
the coolest thing I’ve ever built

2 years of being open is this August
and we have some crazy plans in store
