BOUND is coming to Barcelona We take a stand, we take risks. We sacrifice. We reach momentum, euphoria, collective catharsis. Protest is a response to a threat, it's action against inaction, it is collectivity against rising individualism. But what lingers in our bodies after the protest has ended? This workshop is an invitation to explore our own embodied memory of protest. When: 7 Oct 18:00-21:30 8 Oct 18:00-20:00 Where: Espai Jove Palau Alòs Calle de Sant Pere Més Baix 55, 08003, Barcelona (Cataluña) Tell yr mates. Share with all Barcelona xx by @stella_fass

BOUND is a feminist exploration of restricted bodies. This short film delves into the psychological and emotional impact of the ‘chilling effect’ on young female and gender-non-conforming protesters. Through movement, it looks at the emotional repercussions of the body being controlled and manipulated, as well as the suffocating weight of surveillance, censorship and violent authorities. Set to a soundscape of interviews from protesters across the UK, this film explores a physical manifestation of restraint, fear and frustration, creating a powerful visual statement on the complexity of protest and the silent ways in which the state stifles dissent. Come along to the premiere of BOUND on the 14th of November - link in the bio 🕸️ by @stella_fass
