what a ride🌞

as we usually tend to only capture & share the beautiful parts, here’s also some reality of (solo) traveling/van life:

• being terrified at first cause you’re not used to doing it alone
• feeling lonely at times
• feeling helpless when something goes wrong, cause there’s no one to share the troubles/responsibilities with
• unexpected costs & running out of money 🥲
• crying
• having a fever in the van in summer and not being able to escape the heat
• having to sleep with a beanie and a hot water bottle in winter
• …..

BUT
• so so liberating
• being able to do whatever you want, whenever you want
• learning to handle it all on your own
• getting to know yourself better than ever before
• building resilience & confidence

It’s international Sarabi day!! 🕺🏻

The whiter your fur gets, the more teeth you lose and the slower you get, the more I’ve learned to appreciate every single day and every moment with you (even more than before)

My little gypsy travel buddy, my best friend, my emotional support, my rock for the last six years. I honestly don’t know what I’d do without you.
Thank you for always being by my side - apart from the many times you run off to eat poop.

Here’s to many, many more adventures together, poopy ❤️ by @stellaaxo
