One year with Jake 💗our anniversary is on the 22nd but I was simply too excited to show the world how much you mean to me @discomeathead

Here are some things I love about you.
I love that you are unwaveringly and relentlessly kind.
You have the kind of heart that makes me feel safe, understood, and cared for without even trying.

I love how you’re the smartest person in the whole world.
You always know how to explain things to me, calm me down, and somehow have an answer for everything.

I love when you talk about your interests. I could listen to you talk forever. Especially when you’re talking about conspiracy theories about the government or Pokémon

I love how cute your face looks when you laugh and smile. It genuinely fixes every bad day I’ve ever had. Your smile is my favorite thing in the world. I will try to make you laugh and smile until the end of time.

I love how patient you are with me.
You never make me feel like I’m “too much.” You listen to every random thought, every story, every worry, and every dream like it matters just as much to you as it does to me.

I love how safe you make me feel.
No matter what is happening around me, being with you feels like home. The world gets quieter when I’m next to you.

I love the way you love me.
Loudly, gently, consistently, and in all the little ways that matter the most. The good morning texts, the reassurance, the way you remember tiny details about me, the way you always make sure I’m okay.

I love that no matter where we are or what we’re doing, I’m happiest when I’m with you.
Car rides, when I wake you up at 4 am, going shopping with you, watching you look for CRT’s on Facebook marketplace, even going to the grocery store, somehow every ordinary moment feels important because it’s with you.

I love that after a whole year, I still get excited every single time I see your name on my phone.
I still look at you and think “wow, that’s my squish”

I am forever thankful to God for listening to my parents prayers and giving me you. I fear God because no matter how hard it gets, God gave me you and now everything is worth fighting for.
