Thanks to my friends and husband for the surprise baby shower at 7 months—because the hyperpigmentation and puffy face that hit me at 8 months was wild 😂 I thought I had escaped!

My friends were present at every stage. I felt seen, heard, loved, and cared for. Honestly, I’ll swim an ocean for them—God help me.
They say a pregnant woman never forgets how you treat her, and it’s true—every call, every message, food 🤭, every act of kindness is still fresh in my memory.

Thank Jesus I have people in my corner, come rain or shine! Coming to save me.
My favorite part of this journey? My cravings being satisfied every single time 😂

Thank you @veetamindee for always showing up and @kunmi_cooks — you stayed with me till I had my baby Imagine how we waited for this baby to come and it kept extending your stay 😂 thank you both for always feeding me and @samuel_a_adeoye for calling me every Tuesday until baby was born.

I’m also so grateful to everyone that sent their gifts from our baby’s registry and to my friends in Nigeria for always checking on me.

This baby na Nepo baby o — the aunties and uncles are spoiling him!!!

This is, without question, the greatest honour God has bestowed upon us.

In His perfect timing, when our hearts were ready to become parents, He blessed us with our most precious gift.

For this child we prayed, and the Lord has graciously granted us the desires of our hearts.

From the very moment he was formed within me, I carried a quiet knowing, long before the test confirmed it.

Our son, our answered prayer:

God has been teaching me so much lately, and He’s graciously grafted me into a community I’m deeply, deeply grateful for ☺️. His intentionality towards us is honestly overwhelming in the best way.

I’m learning to do things God’s way—even when it doesn’t align with what I want (yes, it stings a little). But that’s the truth of God’s Word: Jesus gave His life for me so that I no longer live for myself, but for Him.

So even if I dream of living a quiet life, making money, staying low-key, and helping people in my own little way—but that’s not what He has planned—then I have to go with His will. Not mine 🥹.

I often tell God, Lord, I just want to stay hidden—I don’t think I have what it takes. But He gently reminds me, That’s not your decision to make. And if what I want ends up being part of His plan? I’ll be so relieved!

You see, I’m not even the type to write long captions—but here I am, lol. But again His will, not mine.

And I’m truly grateful for His grace over my life, because not even a bit of me is deserving.
