Some great mom moments with some great moms. Yes happy mothers day to my wife @mydorota who I make a post for yearly, but now that my mom has an active instagram I think I should loop her in as well… So happy Mothers day Mom, and thanks for teaching me about patience and grace and compassion in these recent years and days, as well as all the patience you had with me in the past. I love the curiosity and fervor for nature you instilled in me, and I love to explore with you and marvel at things we humans didn’t make. Happy birthday @jeremiahfraites you are brilliant and creative and one of the most funny people I know with a bizarro non sequitur humor and infectious humor that roils its way around the band like the flu, truly fueling the best vibe. On top of all that you are an inspiration as a prolific and diligent creator who harnesses any semblance of adhd for the power of good through music and in that way inspires the hell out of me. I want to learn your focus and your reverence to your ideas, obsession and addiction harnessed for good, with outcomes that floor people and bring them to tears. It’s real cool. On top of this I admire who you’ve become in knowing yourself and who you’ve become as a father and family man, and who you’ve become as a bandmate and friend. A rollercoaster knowing you now 15+ years and here’s to 15 years more of the best ride i’ve been on yet. Thx @rkdeeb for some pics from a few of these auz shows by @stelthulvang

Happy 6th birthday to this cutie pooch Alice, the Nepalese Pariah dog. Alice B Toklas, the Dog, came to us 5 years ago as a 1 year old pup, flew all the way from Nepal and we scooped her up and drove her home over the snowy mountains (1 year old Alice the day we got her in the last slide) It has been a whirlwind 5 years of having a dog and all the community that helps support her and their patience with her while she’s become a mostly good dog. Thanks everyone for your support in this perfect addition to our family, and remember, dogs are for life, not just for christmas. by @stelthulvang

What better cheesy representation of how our fans hold us up and we couldn’t have done these 80+ shows this year without every damn one of you. The metaphor gets mixed up a bit when i go into how much harder it is to hold me up when you are holding your phones ;) but i love all of you for the enthusiasm. What a great tour with the best people and hardest working crew bringing the most incredible songs to the loudest crowds. Ending this tour in Mexico City was just the send off we needed to our long rest. Anyway thanks @rkdeeb for the pics and i’ll do another post of verts cause whatevs. See y’all next year. by @stelthulvang
